The following lists the weapons seen in Season 7 of the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit:
Pistols
Glock 19
2nd and 3rd Generation Glock 19s are used by the majority of NYPD detectives in the Special Victims Unit including Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni), Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), Detective John Munch (Richard Belzer) and Detective Odafin "Fin" Tutuola (Ice-T). Captain Donald Cragen (Dann Florek) is sometimes seen carrying one in some episodes. Uniformed NYPD Officers are seen using Glock 19s as well. The Glock 19 is also seen used by undercover FBI Special Agent Dana Lewis (Marcia Gay Harden). Like many television shows and films, every time a Glock is seen being drawn, the sound effect of a hammer cocking is heard (despite the fact that Glocks are hammerless).
Glock Non Gun
In some scenes, notably in "Raw" (S7E06) a Non Gun Glock is used.
Kahr K9
In "Ripped" (S7E04), Det. Stabler carries a Kahr K9 as his off-duty weapon. The Kahr K9 was an authorized offduty NYPD weapon until it was withdrawn in December 2011 by NYPD Command.
Smith & Wesson 4506-1
An officer appears to be armed with a Smith & Wesson 4506-1 in "Demons" (S7E01).
Revolvers
Colt Detective Special
What appears to be a Colt Detective Special with a taped grip is seen kept in a van's hidden compartment while Stabler works undercover in "Demons" (S7E01). He fires it in a confrontation at the end of the episode.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
In "Blast" (S7E13), a Smith & Wesson Model 36 is seen as Stabler's backup weapon, which he gives to Medical Examiner Dr. Melinda Warner (Tamara Tunie) to use in the episode.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The NYPD ESU Officers throughout the series use Heckler & Koch MP5A3s as one of their main weapons. They are fitted with various attachments, such as scopes or tactical flashlights.
MAC-10
A MAC-10 is used by Daniel Hunter (Shawn Reaves) in Season 7's "Blast" (S7E13).
Rifles
Colt M4A1 Carbine
The M4A1 Carbine is a frequent weapon carried by members of the NYPD's Emergency Services Unit (ESU) throughout the series. They are fitted with various optics including EOTech sights and M68 Aimpoint scopes.
M16A2
M16A2 rifles are seen in a store display in "Raw" (S7E06).
AKM (Air Rifle)
In "Raw" (S7E06), an air pellet rifle closely modeled after an AK rifle is found in a suspects apartment.
Sniper Rifles
Remington 700PSS
The NYPD ESU snipers are seen using Remington 700s throughout the series.
Grendel SRT
In "Raw" (S7E06), a Grendel SRT rifle appears to be the weapon used in a shooting.
Shotguns
Ithaca 37 Stakeout
In "Fault" (S7E19), a customized Ithaca 37 "Stakeout" shotgun with a shortened barrel and magazine tube, a ventilated barrel shroud and a folding vertical grip is used by Victor Paul Gitano (Lou Diamond Phillips) while holding Det. Stabler hostage.
