Law & Order: Organized Crime is a 2021 police drama set in the universe of Law & Order. The series stars Christopher Meloni as Eliot Stabler, the former Special Victims Unit detective who returns to New York City after living abroad for 10 years to head up the NYPD's Organized Crime Task Force. In a departure from the original Law & Order formula, Law & Order: Organized Crime follows Stabler as he pursues a single criminal over the course of several episodes. The series premiered in the US on NBC on April 1, 2021, with a crossover episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. The series would exclusively stream on Peacock beginning with Season 5.
