Season 16 (2014-2015)

The following lists the weapons seen in Season 16 of the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit:

Glock 19

The Glock 19 is carried by the majority of NYPD detectives in the Special Victims Unit including Lieutenant Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), Detective Odafin "Fin" Tutuola (Ice-T), Detective Dominick Carisi Jr. (Peter Scanavino) and Detective Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish). Uniformed NYPD Officers are seen using Glock 19s as well. In "Chicago Crossover" (S16E07), the crossover episode with Chicago P.D., CPD Detective Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush) carries a Glock 19 as well.

Both Det. Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) and Det. Dominick Carisi Jr. (Peter Scanavino) hold Glock 19 pistols in the season premiere "Girls Disappeared" (S16E01).

Det. "Fin" Tutuola (Ice-T) wields his Glock 19 in "Girls Disappeared" (S16E01). Note that this shot bears a lot of visual similarity (bottom-up angle) to a similar shot in New Jack City, Ice-T's first-ever film role, where he also used a Glock 19.

Colt M4A1 Carbine

The M4A1 Carbine is a frequent weapon carried by members of the NYPD's Emergency Services Unit (ESU) throughout the series. They are often fitted with various optics including EOTech sights and M68 Aimpoint scopes.
