Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire

Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire is the 2024 crossover film and sequel to the 2021 film Godzilla vs. Kong and is part of the MonsterVerse cinematic universe. It is the second crossover films between the Godzilla and King Kong franchises in the MonsterVerse continuity but third overall. Adam Wingard returns as director. Brian Tyree Henry, Rebecca Hall and Kaylee Hottle also return to reprise their characters from the previous entry. Set 3 years after the events of the previous film, King Kong discovers an evil ape monster called Skar King has been freed from his imprisonment and is planning to lead an army of monsters to take over the surface world. Unable to beat this army of titans on his own, King Kong and Godzilla must put their differences aside and team up to save both the underworld and surface world from the oncoming threat.
Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire was released on March 29, 2024. It is the sixth film in the MonsterVerse shared cinematic universe.

Shotguns
Kel-Tec KSG
MONARCH security and pilot Mikael (Alex Ferns) is armed with what appears to be a bullpup shotgun, possibly Kel-Tec KSG with a guardrail. Bullpups are a rarity in kaiju media.
Rotary Cannons
M61 Vulcan
McDonnell Douglas F/A 18 Hornets are seen taking off with their M61 Vulcan visibly mounted in their nose in Cadiz, Spain.
GAU-22/A
Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II's armed with General Dynamics GAU-22/A are launched to engage Godzilla in Cadiz, Spain but their Geiger counters determine his glowing body is leaking an obscene amount of radiation that could kill the pilots or cause an short circuit the aircraft or their missiles so they are forced to stand down without even having a chance to fight him.

Unidentified Humvee Weapons
When Godzilla attacks a nuclear reactor in Montagnac, France, several military personal are sent to see how bad the potential radiation leak is. Several of them arrive in Humvees with mounted weapons, though due to the darkness of night out in the country and power outage it is difficult to tell if the mounted weapons are machine guns or automatic grenade launchers. They are covered in gun shields.
