The Son of Kong (1933)

The Son of Kong was a light-hearted sequel to King Kong (1933). Released in the same year as the first film, The Son of Kong follows Carl Denham (Robert Armstrong) and friends return as they return to Skull Island in search of lost treasure and encounter a white-furred "little Kong," who proves to be friendly and helpful to them.

Note: The Venture's crew mutinies upon arriving at Skull Island. In overpowering Denham and those loyal to him, they employ a variety of revolvers and rifles.

Revolvers

Rifles

The mutinous sailors also use several Krag-Jørgensen rifles.

Shotgun

Hammerless Double Barreled Shotgun

Charlie the cook, who elects not to throw in with Red and the others, sneaks two Double Barreled Shotgun aboard the lifeboat Denham (Robert Armstrong) and the rest are put ashore in. He and Captain Englehorn use them throughout their time on the island and Hilda Petersen also holds Denham's on occasion. Both shotguns come to bad ends.

The three find the chewed-up shotgun after the dinosaur finally leaves.

Exposed Hammer Double Barreled Shotgun

Denham holds a exposed hammer Double Barreled Shotgun as he and Hilda find Little Kong.

Charles Parker 1878 Side by Side Shotgun - 12 Gauge. The Parker Gun Company was absorbed into Remington in 1934.

Little Kong picks up Denham's shotgun after he sets it down upon finding the island's treasure.
Much to Denham and Hilda's dismay, Little Kong plays with the weapon, causing it to discharge. He eventually snaps it in half.
