Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is the first television spin-off of the series Law & Order. The series (sometimes referred to as Law & Order: SVU) revolves around the cases investigated by the NYPD's Special Victims Unit, which primarily handles sexually-based offenses. The series premiered in 1999 on NBC and currently airs on the network.
The following lists the weapons seen in Season 7 of the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit:
Handguns
Glock 19
2nd and 3rd Generation Glock 19s are used by the majority of NYPD detectives in the Special Victims Unit including Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni), Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), Detective John Munch (Richard Belzer) and Detective Odafin "Fin" Tutuola (Ice-T).
