The Dead Eyes of London is a 1961 German movie directed by Alfred Vohrer and is the sixth German Edgar Wallace movie. With 3.4 million moviegoers, it became the third most successful film in the entire series. A series of murders of old, rich men leads Inspector Larry Holt of Scotland Yard to take the case in hand because he believes all the murders are connected. He soon discovers that all the victims had signed contracts with the same insurance company, the Greenwich Insurance Company, for very large sums of money. This puts him on the trail of the "dead eyes of London", a former criminal gang and their leader, the "blind Jack".
