Detective Joe Fontana (Dennis Farina) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose as his service weapon. Although the Model 19 was not, on the NYPD approved carry list, Fontana (like Dennis Farina) had started his career in the Chicago Police Department, and may have been grandfathered in.

Detectives Nick Green (Jesse L. Martin), Nick Falco (Michael Imperioli) and other NYPD officers are armed with Glock 19s.

An undercover officer's Beretta 92FS is recovered in "Gunplay" (S15E05). Pete Andretti (Al Sapienza) is seen with one in "Ain't No Love" (S15E13). Emiliano Ortiz (Jose Edwin Soto) uses one in "Tombstone" (S15E20).

Al Sapienza) stows his Beretta in "Ain't No Love" (S15E13). Although Fontana asks him if it's a "Beretta 9mm," Andretti says it's a "Beretta .45." (Only the Beretta Cougar comes in .45.)

An undercover officer's Smith & Wesson Model 36 is recovered in "Gunplay" (S15E05). Det. Falco recovers a Smith & Wesson Model 36 in "In God We Trust" (S15E23).

Beretta 92F Inox (Non Gun)
Richard Ranson (Austin Lysy) attempts suicide with a Beretta 92F Inox Non Gun.
Ranson shoots himself with the non gun in the teaser of "Sects" (S15E19). It's easy to tell in this shot why a non gun was the only safe option.

Tanfoglio Titan II
A Tanfoglio Titan II, described as a ".380," is handled by Det. Pete Milligan (Paul Schulze) in "Publish and Perish" (S15E21).

A Beretta 84FS is recovered in a suspect's apartment in "Locomotion" (S15E24).

Ed Bogdanowicz) presents the detectives with the recovered Beretta. Ed Bogdanowicz is a retired NYPD ESU officer who has played an ESU officer in the
Law & Order franchise thirteen times.
AR-15 carbine
An ESU officer is seen with an AR-15-type carbine in "Locomotion" (S15E24). There's no clear shot of it, however.

Unknown handguns
EADA Jack McCoy with an unknown handgun in "Publish and Perish" (S15E21). This is supposed to be the same Tanfoglio Titan II as above, but this is clearly a different weapon.

An ESU officer can be seen with what appears to be a CAR-15 SMG in "Gunplay" (S15E05).

Rifles/Carbines
MGC M16
US troops are seen armed with what are likely MGC M16 replicas in "Paradigm" (S15E01). Captain Clark Wallace (Bryan Scott Johnson) is seen with what is likely a slung MGC replica in a photo in "Enemy" (S15E10).
The MGC M16 Assault rifle: a non firing metal replica built by the Model Gun Corp of Japan and one of the most used non firing replicas of the M16 in movies and television. The 'forward assist' on the early models like the one imaged here are bolt inserts to keep the receiver together. Modern MGC M16 replicas have improved by third parties over the years (like adding A1 flash hiders) making it more accurate to the real thing making it harder for 'Connoisseurs' to identify

A Remington 700 is found in "License to Kill" (S15E17). Det. Fontana describes it as a "bolt-action Remington Model 700," and claims he used to hunt with one as a kid.

Colt AR-15A2 Sporter II
The murder weapon in "License to Kill" (S15E17) is a Colt AR-15A2 Sporter II. Fontana describes it as a "AR-15 semi-automatic."

RAH-66 Comanche
An RAH-66 Comanche scout/attack helicopter makes a cameo flying around an army base in "Paradigm" (S15E01). This is almost definitely a CGI model, as the Comanche program had been cancelled by the army months before the episode was produced.
