Law & Order: Trial by Jury was the third spinoff of the series Law & Order, following Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The series primarily dealt with the legal aspects of a particular crime from both the prosecution and the defense. Among the series regulars was Jerry Orbach as former NYPD Det. Lennie Briscoe, who retired from the force to work in the DA office (sadly, Orbach would only appear in two episodes before his untimely passing) and Fred Dalton Thompson, who appeared as New York District Attorney Arthur Branch in this series while continuing to appear in the role in the original Law & Order. While the series only aired for one season from 2005 to 2006 on NBC, the theme song would be utilized for later seasons of Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
The following weapons were used in the series Law & Order: Trial by Jury:
Glock 19
The Glock 19 is the handgun carried by the investigators in the series including Det. Hector Salazar (Kirk Acevedo) and Det. Chris Ravell (Scott Cohen).
Smith & Wesson Model 19
In the episode "Skeleton", Detective Joe Fontana (Dennis Farina) is seen pulling his Smith & Wesson Model 19 with a 2.5-inch barrel to threaten a suspect.
Smith & Wesson Model 60
In the episode "Skeleton", Shane Lucas (Ritchie Coster) is seen taking a Smith & Wesson Model 60 from a dealer and pointing at Det. Salazar during an undercover sting.
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is found underneath a mattress of a suspect in "Skeleton".
