Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the 2016 superhero feature film that marks the first live action pairing of Superman and Batman. Henry Cavill returns as Clark Kent/Superman from Man of Steel and Ben Affleck makes his debut as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film was directed by Zack Snyder and also is part of the DC Extended Universe, which includes Man of Steel, Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman (2017).
The following weapons were used in the film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Rifles
Heckler & Koch G36C
In a dream sequence, Heckler & Koch G36C rifles are used by Superman's (Henry Cavill) soldiers in Batman's (Ben Affleck) vision. A G36C also is seen in the hands of Batman in this sequence. A mercenary also uses a G36C while confronting Batman in a warehouse.
FN SCAR-L
Members of LexCorp security are armed with the FN SCAR-L. In a dream sequence, Batman uses one with a sling and a joker card taped to the stock. Several mercenaries also are armed with the rifle when confronted by Batman in a warehouse.
Zastava M70AB2
General Amajagh's men are armed with Zastava M70AB2 rifles.
IWI Galil MAR
Several of Anatoli Knyazev's henchmen use Galil MAR compact assault rifles with reflex sights and AN/PVS-2 TPIALs.
Heckler & Koch HK416
The leader of the Delta Force team sent in to rescue Lois Lane in the beginning of the film is seen with a tan painted Heckler & Koch HK416 equipped with various accessories. A Knyazev henchman is also seen with a HK416 D10RS Carbine.
Machine Guns
M249 SAW Paratrooper
A mercenary is seen firing a M249 SAW during a car chase.
Browning M2HB
Browning M2HB machine guns mounted on Ram pickup trucks are used by Knayzev's henchmen to shoot at the Batwing. In Bruce Wayne's nightmare, a Browning M2 also is seen.
DShK Heavy Machine Gun
In the Ultimate Edition Cut, DShK heavy machine guns are seen mounted in rebel positions in the desert.
M60
One of Anatoli Knyazev's henchmen is seen threatening Martha Kent with an M60 machine gun. When Batman comes to rescue Martha he subdues the henchman and uses the M60 one-handed.
M134 Minigun
During a chase, Anatoli Knyazev's henchmen are seen using a M134 minigun mounted on a truck. During his confrontation with Superman, Batman uses several remote units that have miniguns and Barrett-style rifles mounted. Several miniguns are also seen mounted on the Batwing.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP7A1
One of Anatoli Knyazev's henchmen is seen firing a Heckler & Koch MP7A1 while being chased by Batman at the Gotham docks.
Sniper Rifle
SIG-Sauer SSG 3000
Batman is seen on a rooftop armed with a sniper rifle that resembles a SIG-Sauer SSG 3000. The rifle is used to fire a tracking beacon on a convey lead by Knyazev.
Shotguns
Remington 870 Shotgun
A Remington 870 shotgun is used by a Gotham City Police officer. A prison guard also is seen holding a 870.
Handguns
Colt M1911A1
Much like Gotham, what appears to be an Colt M1911A1 is used by the assailant that shoots both Thomas Wayne (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Martha Wayne (Lauren Cohan). In a dream sequence, Batman also pulls a similar pistol with an ivory grip.
Browning Hi-Power
General Amajagh (Sammi Rotibi) is armed with a Browning Hi-Power pistol.
SIG-Sauer P226R
A GCPD officer is seen with a SIG-Sauer P226R while searching a house. Various henchmen also use the P226.
Heckler & Koch USP Compact
A Heckler & Koch USP Compact is used by Anatoli Knyazev (Callan Mulvey) in the desert to execute some of General Amajah's men. Several of Knyazev's henchmen also use USPs during the warehouse fight with Batman.
Launchers
FN MK 13 EGLM
A black stand-alone FN MK 13 grenade launcher is used by Batman to fire grenades, smoke rounds, or, as is seen in the film, Kryptonite rounds, which he fires at Superman and Doomsday. For no discernible reason, the MK 13 has two GG&G Harris Bipod Adapters mounted on the left-hand side rail. According to prop master Douglas Harlocker, the MK 13 was used because it has a "Batman-ish" feel, being "complicated. but not over-complicated" and "the scale was really good for [Batman]," plus he'd never seen it in a movie before (guess he doesn't visit IMFDB; it was in Transformers: Dark of the Moon). Harlocker also claims that, after Zack Snyder approved the MK 13, it was painted and had its stock apparently modified, despite the fact that the stock actually appears to be... stock.
FGM-148 Javelin
A mockup of the FGM-148 Javelin is in the hands of Anatoli Knyazev (Callan Mulvey) during a chase with Batman.
Mk 19 grenade launcher
The Mk 19 grenade launcher is seen mounted along with a Barrett-style rifle in a weapons system firing on Superman during his confrontation with the Dark Knight.
Other
CTS Model 7290M Mini Bang
A CTS Model 7290M Mini Bang, modified (apparently) by Independent Studio Services to be the fictional EFS Model 6500G (presumably for legal reasons), is used in the film. Notably, the new address on the prop is ISS's actual address and the U.S. patent number actually corresponds with a patent for a "pumping assembly for well fluids" filled in 1955.
M230 Chain Gun
The M230 Chain Gun is the armament used by AH-64 Apaches that engage the Doomsday creature in Gotham.
M101 Howitzer
Three M101 howitzers are fired at a funeral. The three howitzers were provided by weapons expert Gary Harper, owner of Harperhaus Weapons. They had their upper shields removed and hydraulic systems modified to recoil while using special blank ammunition designed by Harper for the film.
The Batcave Armory
When Bruce views his Batsuit in addition to the suit worn by his former partner Robin, several weapons are seen behind the costumes. These weapons are not readily visible in the film, but are seen in some production photos.
