Battlefield: 1918 is a 2004 modification for the game Battlefield: 1942. Battlefield: 1918 is set during the First World War in multiple theatres and continents. The maps are often based on actual battles fought in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Equatorial Africa, and Asia. The mod has over 140 maps and 29 playable armies in addition to a wide array of weapons, ground vehicles, aircraft, and ships to create an authentic representation of the First World War. The mod also covers the Russian Civil War, Polish-Soviet War and the Polish-Ukrainian War in the included Battlefield: 1919 addon since 2023.

The Colt M1911A1 is the standard sidearm of the American forces where it anachronistically substitutes the original Colt M1911.
FN M1922
While called the FN 1910 it is the anachronistic FN Model 1922 and is the standard sidearm of the Belgian forces. The Barrel extension of the 1922 model sticks out from the rest of the slide.
Glisenti M1910
The Glisenti Model 1910 is the standard sidearm of the Italian forces.
Luger P08
The Luger P08 is the standard sidearm of the Imperial German forces.
Mauser C96
The Mauser C96 is the standard sidearm of the Bulgarian and the Ottoman forces in-game.
Nambu Small-Model
The Nambu Small-Model is the standard sidearm of the Japanese forces.
Ruby M1915
The Ruby M1915 is the standard sidearm of the French forces and later the Serbian forces.
Steyr M1912
The Steyr M1912 is the standard sidearm of the Austro-Hungarian and the Romanian forces. The Austro-Hungarians also have the P16 machine pistol variant which is loaded with two clips and is fully automatic.

The Reichsrevolver M1879 is the standard sidearm of Imperial German forces in the very earliest battles.

The Webley Mk VI is the standard sidearm of the British, and the forces from the Australian and Canadian Dominions.

The Browning Auto-5 shotgun is available for pickup in certain maps with British and American forces and is extremely powerful at close range. There are Belgian manufacturers' stamps on the gun.
Submachine Guns
Bergmann MP18
The MP18 is available for pickup in some late-war maps with Imperial German forces and is very effective at clearing out trenches and large numbers of enemy troops.
Villar Perosa M1915
The Villar Perosa M1915 is the standard submachine gun of the Italian forces, and is capable of being fired from the hip despite being intended as a lightweight bipod-mounted support weapon; while some were fitted with wooden stocks for offhand use, the in-game gun has neither a stock nor a mounting of any sort, leaving one to guess at how exactly it's even fired when one of the hands is in the way of the ejection port.

The Arisaka Type 44 is the carbine used by Japanese forces, the under folding bayonet can not be used.

The No. 27 Smoke Grenade was distinguished from other No. 27 grenades such as those with poison gas by a red stripe. In BF1918 the poison gas grenade looks identical to the smoke grenade.
No. 34 Mk. III Hand Grenade
The No.34 Mk.III Hand Grenade is used by the French and Belgian forces; In real life it was only used by British forces. A more accurate choice for a French anti-tank grenade might have been the Grenade Antichar Mle 1918. Despite being a rather light anti-personell grenade it is primarily used to take out tanks and armored vehicles (In real life it was meant to be thrown from trenches against infantry).
