− | The [[M4A1]] with a variety of optics and attachments is again seen commonly throughout Season 4, used by several characters. Going on a supply run to the Big Spot store in "30 Days Without An Accident" (S4E01) Bob Stookey ([[Lawrence Gilliard Jr.]]) is armed with the M4A1 with a scope rail riser and no optic or rear sight. Both Rick ([[Andrew Lincoln]]) and Carl ([[Chandler Riggs]]) take M4A1 carbines from the weapons bins in the prison yard and shoot at the bursting horde of walkers in "Internment" (S4E05). Martinez's camp inhabitant named Alisha ([[Juliana Harkavy]]) carries her Army issued M4A1 with a ACOG style scope in "Dead Weight" (S4E07). Daryl ([[Norman Reedus]]) pulls two M4A1 carbines out of the weapons container before the battle in "Too Far Gone" (S4E08), keeping one with a EOTech XPS Holographic sight and Magpul magazines for himself and gives the other fitted with a LMT rear sight, a M16/SP1 lower receiver, Magpul MOE buttstock and a PMAG to Maggie. Probably due to a continuity error later (or just to get Maggie's attention by arming), the other M4A1 is used by Beth ([[Emily Kinney]]) while Maggie uses the M&P15. Alisha and another militia member ([[Jimmy Cooper]]) also use rifles in the same episode. Glenn ([[Steven Yeun]]) takes with him a M4A1 carbine with an Aimpoint CompM2 CCO leaving the prison in "Inmates" (S4E10), Tara ([[Alanna Masterson]]) also holds the carbine at the end of the episode, hitting a walker with the stock. At the beginning of "Claimed" (S4E11), Tara gives Abraham ([[Michael Cudlitz]]) Glenn's carbine with which he beats several walkers to death. Waking up, Glenn takes his carbine and prepares to leave, and when the walkers appear Eugene ([[Josh McDermitt]]) grabs another M4A1 with a red dot sight, a Magpul P-MAG 40-round magazine, a FAB Defence stock and UTG rail covers out of the truck and ridiculously shoots them, hitting the truck. Seeing this Abraham takes the rifle away from him. Both Glenn and Abraham use M4A1s in "Us" (S4E15). At least three inhabitants ([[Philip Dido]], Matthew Austin Murray and [[Garrett Hammond]]) of Terminus are armed with M4A1s in "A" (S4E16). | + | The [[M4A1]] with a variety of optics and attachments is again seen commonly throughout Season 4, used by several characters. The fourth season is created by Robert Kirkman and Scott Gimple. Months after a failed attack on the prison, the community thrives and expands, until Rick and his friends face a ferocious disease and the bloody vengeance of The Governor who has returned with a new army. By the second half of the season, the group of survivors find themselves splintered and scattered throughout the outskirts, but come back together in a new potentially safe location. The season consists of sixteen episodes and was premiered on October 13, 2013 on AMC.

Colt Official Police
Daryl (Norman Reedus) continues to carry a Colt Official Police as a back-up firearm to his crossbow where he uses it to fend off several walkers in "30 Days Without An Accident" (S4E01). The holstered revolver is seen on Daryl's bike at the beginnig of "Alone" (S4E13).

Rick (Andrew Lincoln) returns the Beretta to Carl (Chandler Riggs) in "Infected" (S4E02). Both Carl and Bob use guns in "Isolation" (S4E03). Bob uses the gun during "Indifference" (S4E04) until Daryl (Norman Reedus) takes it out of its holster. Carl briefly holds the gun in "Internment" (S4E05). One of the residents of Martinez's camp (Larry Vaughn) carries the holstered Beretta in "Dead Weight" (S4E07). Carl uses his Beretta during "After" (S4E09). Bob fires his Beretta at walkers from the evacuation bus in "Inmates" (S4E10). Carl's holstered pistol is seen in "Claimed" (S4E11). In "Alone" (S4E13), Sasha uses Bob's Beretta during a fight with the walkers in the mist. Bob also carries it holstered in the episode. Bob carries his Beretta 92FS until he loses it upon arrival to Terminus in "Us" (S4E15). Carl briefly turns in his Beretta to a Terminus resident named Alex (Tate Ellington) before returning it to him in "A" (S4E16), as well as a Terminus leader named Gareth (Andrew J. West) carries the gun in the episode.
Beretta 92SB (Nickel)
Philip Blake aka "The Governor" (David Morrissey) continues to use a nickel finish Beretta 92SB as his sidearm throughout the Season 4. He is forced to surrender the gun to Tara Chambler (Alanna Masterson) in "Live Bait" (S4E06), but her sister Lilly (Audrey Marie Anderson) gives it back to him at the end of the episode. In "Too Far Gone" (S4E08), Glenn is briefly seen with the holstered Glock 17 while wondering about the commotion, and Mitch is also briefly seen holding it during the battle. In a deleted scene, Mitch threatens Michonne and Hershel as they attempt to escape. Glenn carries his Glock in a drop leg holster outside his riot gear in "Inmates" (S4E10) and "Claimed" (S4E11). Glenn holds the Glock 17 in a flashback at the beginning of "Alone" (S4E13). He carries it in "Us" (S4E15) before losing it at Terminus. One of the inhabitants (Keith Matlock) of Terminus aims the pistol in "A" (S4E16).
