He reluctantly carries it in his leather basketweave holster and draws it at survivor named Clara in "30 Days Without An Accident" (S4E01). Rick carries and checks the gun in "Infected" (S4E02) and fires it in "Isolation" (S4E03). Encountering two survivors in "Indifference" (S4E04) Rick takes them at gunpoint. The Python is seen holstered in "Internment" (S4E05). Rick fires his revolver during the battle for prison in "Too Far Gone" (S4E08). Both Rick and Carl ([[Chandler Riggs]]) hold the gun in "After" (S4E09). Rick gives his gun to Carl before he leaves to search for supplies in "Claimed" (S4E11). Rick also carries the Python in "A" (S4E16) until he leaves it in a buried bag. |

Going on a supply run to the Big Spot store in "30 Days Without An Accident" (S4E01) Bob Stookey ([[Lawrence Gilliard Jr.]]) is armed with the M4A1 with a scope rail riser and no optic or rear sight. Both Rick ([[Andrew Lincoln]]) and Carl ([[Chandler Riggs]]) take M4A1 carbines from the weapons bins in the prison yard and shoot at the bursting horde of walkers in "Internment" (S4E05). Martinez's camp inhabitant named Alisha ([[Juliana Harkavy]]) carries her Army issued M4A1 with a ACOG style scope in "Dead Weight" (S4E07). Daryl ([[Norman Reedus]]) pulls two M4A1 carbines out of the weapons container before the battle in "Too Far Gone" (S4E08), keeping one with a EOTech XPS Holographic sight and Magpul magazines for himself and gives the other fitted with a LMT rear sight, a M16/SP1 lower receiver, Magpul MOE buttstock and a PMAG to Maggie. Probably due to a continuity error later (or just to get Maggie's attention by arming), the other M4A1 is used by Beth ([[Emily Kinney]]) while Maggie uses the M&P15. Alisha and another militia member ([[Jimmy Cooper]]) also use rifles in the same episode. Glenn ([[Steven Yeun]]) takes with him a M4A1 carbine with an Aimpoint CompM2 CCO leaving the prison in "Inmates" (S4E10), Tara ([[Alanna Masterson]]) also holds the carbine at the end of the episode, hitting a walker with the stock. At the beginning of "Claimed" (S4E11), Tara gives Abraham ([[Michael Cudlitz]]) Glenn's carbine with which he beats several walkers to death. Waking up, Glenn takes his carbine and prepares to leave, and when the walkers appear Eugene ([[Josh McDermitt]]) grabs another M4A1 with a red dot sight, a Magpul P-MAG 40-round magazine, a FAB Defence stock and UTG rail covers out of the truck and ridiculously shoots them, hitting the truck. Seeing this Abraham takes the rifle away from him. Both Glenn and Abraham use M4A1s and carry them before losing them in "Us" (S4E15). Probably due to a continuity error later (or just to get Maggie's attention by arming), the other M4A1 is used by Beth (Emily Kinney) while Maggie uses the M&P15. Alisha and another militia member (Jimmy Cooper) also use rifles in the same episode. Glenn (Steven Yeun) takes with him a M4A1 carbine with an Aimpoint CompM2 CCO leaving the prison in "Inmates" (S4E10), Tara (Alanna Masterson) also holds the carbine at the end of the episode, hitting a walker with the stock.
