Revolvers
Colt Python
Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) continues to use his six-inch barreled Colt Python in Season Two. At the end of "What Lies Ahead" (S2E01), he offers it to Lori, but she refuses. At the end of "Bloodletting" (S2E02), Rick gives his revolver to Otis (Pruitt Taylor Vince), who is going with Shane for medical supplies. Otis fires it in "Save the Last One" (S2E03), and then Shane (Jon Bernthal) gives it back to Rick. He surrenders the gun in "Cherokee Rose" (S2E04), agreeing to Hershel's rules. Both Rick and Glenn (Steven Yeun) briefly hold the revolver in "Chupacabra" (S2E05). The holstered revolver is seen in "Secrets" (S2E06). Rick shoots the last walker that came out of the barn at the end of "Pretty Much Dead Already" (S2E07) and shoots during a confrontation in a bar in "Nebraska" (S2E08) and subsequent "Triggerfinger" (S2E09). Shane tries to grab the revolver from Rick's holster in "18 Miles Out" (S2E10). Daryl (Norman Reedus) takes the revolver away from Rick and shoots at the end of "Judge, Jury, Executioner" (S2E11).
Colt Detective Special
While searching the woods in "What Lies Ahead" (S2E01), Daryl (Norman Reedus) finds a Colt Detective Special in a tent and gives it to Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) who carries it in her back pocket. Angry at being forbidden to carry a gun, Andrea (Laurie Holden) demands the revolver but later returns it. Lori is seen with the holstered revolver in "Bloodletting" (S2E02). In "Secrets" (S2E06) Lori takes the gun from Carl and carries it in her pocket. Later, during shooting practice, Patricia (Jane McNeill) uses the gun. Shane (Jon Bernthal) tries to give Carl the Colt again in "Pretty Much Dead Already" (S2E07), but Lori intervenes. In "Nebraska" (S2E08), Lori takes the Colt with her for protection to go find Rick in town and fires it in self-defense from a walker in the following "Triggerfinger" (S2E09). She also briefly holds it in "Judge, Jury, Executioner" (S2E11).
Colt Official Police
Dale (Jeffrey DeMunn) is seen with what appears to be a holstered Colt Official Police in "What Lies Ahead" (S2E01). In an deleted scene, he shoots walkers in a nursing home. The gun is also seen holstered in "Bloodletting" (S2E02). Dale and Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) are both seen with the revolver in "Secrets" (S2E06).
Bruni Olympic 6
In "Secrets" (S2E06) Shane notices that Carl (Chandler Riggs) carries what appears to be a blank-firing Bruni Olympic 6 revolver pretending to be a Colt Detective Special. After a brief argument, Lori allows to teach his son how to use the gun, but Bruni never shows up after that.
Pistols
Beretta 92FS

Andrea loads the Beretta's magazine at the beginning of "Save the Last One" (S2E03) until Daryl asks it of her, going on a search with the gun. After seeing Andrea's (Laurie Holden) success during shooting practice in "Secrets" (S2E06), Shane (Jon Bernthal) offers her a heavier Beretta, which she subsequently keeps for herself, using it during the search in the same episode and later in "Pretty Much Dead Already" (S2E07). She later carries it holstered in "Nebraska" (S2E08) and "Judge, Jury, Executioner" (S2E11).
Browning BDA
In "Judge, Jury, Executioner" (S2E11), Carl (Chandler Riggs) takes a Browning BDA from a side saddle bag on Daryl's motorcycle and points it at a walker stuck in the swamp.
Glock 17
Shane (Jon Bernthal) and Andrea (Laurie Holden) clean and reassemble the Glock 17 in "What Lies Ahead" (S2E01). Shane is seen with the holstered pistol in a flashback at the beginning of "Bloodletting" (S2E02) and uses it in "Save the Last One" (S2E03) to escape the school with the medical supplies. He surrenders the gun in "Cherokee Rose" (S2E04), agreeing to Hershel's rules. He fires it again while trying to train Andrea in firearms in "Secrets" (S2E06) and to escape the housing development alive. Furious Shane shoots walkers from the barn with his Glock in "Pretty Much Dead Already" (S2E07) and later carries it holstered in "Nebraska" (S2E08) and "Triggerfinger" (S2E09). One of the members of the hostile group named Sean (Keedar Whittle) is also briefly seen with the Glock in "Triggerfinger" (S2E09). In "18 Miles Out" (S2E10), while at the Mert County Public Service site, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) acquires two Glock 17s from two infected Mert County Deputies (who he and Shane killed) when his Python runs out of bullets. He later uses one of the Glocks to rescue Shane from a hoard of walkers. Shane interrogates Randall with the gun in "Judge, Jury, Executioner" (S2E11).
Glock 19
Both Jimmy (James Allen McCune) and T-Dog (IronE Singleton) shoot Glock 19 pistols during shooting practice in "Secrets" (S2E06). Later, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) pulls the gun out of the gun bag while and checks it. Going to clean out the barn from walkers in "Pretty Much Dead Already" (S2E07) Shane (Jon Bernthal) gives it to T-Dog, which he later uses. At the beginning of "Nebraska" (S2E08), T-Dog carries the Glock tucked into his pants.
SIG-Sauer P228
A man named Dave (Michael Raymond-James) whom Rick and the others meet at a bar in "Nebraska" (S2E08) is armed with a SIG-Sauer P228, but fails to fire a single shot during the conflict. In the following "Triggerfinger" (S2E09), Glenn (Steven Yeun) picks up the pistol and gives it to Hershel (Scott Wilson), who uses it in a gunfight.
Smith & Wesson 3913 "Ladysmith"
Shane (Jon Bernthal) pulls Andrea's Smith & Wesson 3913 "Ladysmith" out of the gun bag in "What Lies Ahead" (S2E01) and checks it. In "Save the Last One" (S2E03), Dale (Jeffrey DeMunn) returns the pistol to Andrea (Laurie Holden). In "Cherokee Rose" (S2E04), Shane teaches Andrea how to disassemble and clean the pistol. She also briefly holds it in "Chupacabra" (S2E05) and fires it during a target practice session in "Secrets" (S2E06).
Rifles
Remington 700 BDL
Otis (Pruitt Taylor Vince) uses a scoped Remington 700 BDL in "Bloodletting" (S2E02) as he and Shane loot a FEMA shelter at a nearby high school for medical supplies. He also fires the rifle at walkers trying to escape in "Save the Last One" (S2E03).
Remington 700 VLS
A scoped Remington 700 VLS continues to be used by Dale (Jeffrey DeMunn) in "What Lies Ahead" (S2E01). Dale is seen with the rifle in "Bloodletting" (S2E02), "Save the Last One" (S2E03) and "Secrets" (S2E06). In "Chupacabra" (S2E05), Andrea (Laurie Holden) takes watch on the RV with Dale's rifle but ends up shooting another character on accident after mistaking him for a walker. In "Pretty Much Dead Already" (S2E07), Glenn (Steven Yeun) is seen taking a watch armed with the rifle. In "Triggerfinger" (S2E09) Dale is briefly seen with the rifle behind his back. Andrea once again holds the rifle guarding the camp in "18 Miles Out" (S2E10). Dale carries the rifle again in "Judge, Jury, Executioner" (S2E11).
Winchester Model 70
Going to hide a bag of guns in "Pretty Much Dead Already" (S2E07) Dale (Jeffrey DeMunn) pulls a Winchester Model 70 out of it, checking the bolt, and briefly threatens Shane. He also briefly carries the Winchester behind his back at the beginning of "Nebraska" (S2E08). One of the members of the hostile group named Randall Culver (Michael Zegen) is also armed with what appears to be a Winchester in "Triggerfinger" (S2E09).
Shotguns
Harrington & Richardson Pardner Pump Compact
Due to a continuity error returning to the farm in "Chupacabra" (S2E05) Rick (Andrew Lincoln) gives Shane (Jon Bernthal) a Harrington & Richardson Pardner Pump Compact, even though he was using a Remington before.
