Wargame: Red Dragon (2014)

Wargame: Red Dragon is the third instalment in the Wargame Franchise.

Assault Rifles

Assault Rifles can be found in the hands of every nation in Wargame: Red Dragon. They are the infantries main weapon for fighting other infantry and are only used within 600-500 meters as most armies are trained to engage at these distances. This fact often limits the role of Infantry when compared to most tanks in the game that shoot over 2 kilometers.

Colt M16A1

American, British SAS and South Korean Armies can be seen with Colt M16A1s.

US "90s" era soldiers armed with anarchistic M16A1s,by the 90s the M16A1s were replaced from front line service by the M16A2.

AKM

The AKM makes an appearance but not in the hands of Russian soldiers, but in the hands of US Navy Seals.

AK-47

The AK-47 is seen arming anarchisticly the Soviet forces, when the game takes place after the AK-47 was replaced by AK-74s. Interestingly even though the Soviet soldiers are armed with AK-47s, their stats and labeling is for a AK-74.

QBZ-56-I

The QBZ-56-I can be found equipped to a majority of the Chinese infantry and some North Korean Infantry.

L85A1

The L85A1 can be seen used among almost all British soldier after 1985.

FAMAS F1

The FAMAS F1 makes an appearance as the "FAMAS," arming the majority of French infantry.

kbk AKM

The East German kbk AKM makes an appearance arming the majority of East German forces.

G11

The unique G11 makes an appearance arming the West-German "90s" infantry. This is possible as the West-German army was planning to adopt the G11 but because of the fall of the Berlin Wall they changed their priorities. As the game takes place in fictional scenarios with out a fall of the Berlin Wall.

Battle Rifles

M14

South Korean Reserve Forces can be seen armed with M14 Battle Rifles

L1A1

L1A1 can be found in the hands of Reserve infantry in British and Commonwealth Forces.

G3

The G3 can be found in the hands of West German Forces.

Machine Guns

UK vz. 59

Czech Infantry armed with UK vz. 59

Each Czech Motorized Infantry squad have a UK vz. 59 Machine gun

MG3

The MG3 makes an appearance as the main light Machine gun of West German Forces as well as being mounted on various tanks and APCs.

M60

The M60 Machine Gun can be found in most American Infantry units and on various helicopters.

M249

M249 SAWs appear through out US forces as the Minimi. Only 90s era US soldier can be found armed with M249s.

The M2 appears on many NATO, South Korean and Japanese Vehicles

PKT

The PKT can be found among various Eastern Block vehicles but most of the time it can not be used. Even though most is not all Eastern Block tanks were equipped with PKTs, they are not usable on the majority of the Vehicles.

The Afanasev A-12.7 can be found mounted on Hind-As

Yak-B

The Yak-B 12.7x108mm minigun appears mounted on several models of the Hind.

KPVT

The KPVT heavy machine gun can be found on almost every North Korean tank and almost all BTRs, BDRMs and scout cars.

NSV

Many Eastern Block and Soviet tanks have NSV Heavy Machine guns mounted on AA mounts and various armored vehicles.

Grenade Launchers

Mk. 19

The Mark 19 makes an appearance being equipped to various Helicopters and ground vehicles.

AGS-17

The AGS-17 makes an appearance being mounted on several scout vehicles, helicopters and BMPs.

Cannons

M61 Vulcan

The M61 Vulcan 20mm cannon can be found equipped to almost every US Air Force jet and also on the M163 VADs and other systems like it.

GAU-8 Avenger

The GAU-8 makes an appearance on the A-10 Thunderbolt II

2A26 Grom 73mm cannon

The 2A26 Grom appears on BMP-1s and BMD-1s throughout Red Dragon.

The 2A46 125mm gun and its upgraded version the 2A46M, appears on various Warsaw Pact T-72s, T-90s and T-80 series tanks.

The 2A42 30mm cannon appears on many Eastern Block vehicles like the BMD and BMP series as well as the Mi-28 Havoc.

The S-68 can be found equipped on all ZSU-57-2s.

2A38M

The 2A38M 30mm cannon can be found equipped to Tunguskas of Warsaw Pact nations.

The 2A72 autocannon makes an appearance on the BTR-80A, BMP-3 and several other Warsaw Pact Vehicles in Wargame: Red Dragon.

The GSh-30-1 makes an appearance as the "Gsh-301" aboard many Soviet and Eastern Block Aircraft like the MiG-29 and Su-27.

The ATO-200 can be found equipped to various TO-55s throughout Wargame: Red Dragon.

The LPD-50 can be found among Warsaw Pact assault engineers.

The M10-8 can be found on M132 Zippo Flame thrower tanks.
