Godzilla vs. Gigan (1972)

Godzilla vs. Gigan (also known as Godzilla on Monster Island) is the 12th entry in the Toho-produced Godzilla film series. It depicts the battle of Godzilla and Anguirus against Gigan and King Ghidorah, monsters from space who serve as weapons of extra-terrestrial aggressive civilisation. It's worth noting many of the scenes in this film are actually stock footage from several other films, including Destroy All Monsters, War of the Gargantuas, and Ghidorah, the Three Headed Monster.


The following weapons were used in the film Godzilla vs. Gigan:


M1 Garand

JGSDF personnel are armed with M1 Garand rifles. This scene is actually from The Mysterians, which came out in the 50s, and explains why the JGSDF have this rifle and not M14s or domestic rifles.
