− | = | + | =Overview= |
− | + | Loadouts in ''Military Conflict: Vietnam'' are divided into six classes: Assault, Medic, Gunner, Sniper, Engineer, and Radioman. The only differences between these classes are their selection of weapons and their choice of a special "equipment" item; each team (U.S. Army and Việt Cộng) has their own pool of weapons that are not available to the other team. Of these, Assault has no equipment, Medic has a medical kit, Gunner has an ammo box, Sniper has a flare gun, Engineer has access to a tertiary weapon (usually an explosive of some type), and Radioman has binoculars that allow for airstrikes to be called. | |

Military Conflict: Vietnam is a Vietnam War-oriented multiplayer first-person shooter developed by Dustfade.
The following weapons appear in the video game Military Conflict: Vietnam:
Overview
Loadouts in Military Conflict: Vietnam are divided into six classes: Assault, Medic, Gunner, Sniper, Engineer, and Radioman.
Players can carry a primary weapon, a secondary pistol, their melee weapon, two types of grenade, and their class's equipment item.
Weapons have working fire selectors in MC:V; however, switching between modes doesn't actually move the modelled selector switches.
Pistols
Almost every pistol is available to every class, except for Sniper, which is restricted to a limited selection of suppressed pistols.
Colt M1911A1
The Colt M1911A1 is available to all U.S. Army classes except the Sniper.
FN Baby Browning
The diminutive FN Baby Browning (originally exclusive to gun game mode) is available to every U.S. Army class except for Sniper. Its usage in-game stems from MACV-SOG teams being issued with pistols as a last resort gun.
FN P-35
The FN P-35 is available as a sidearm for every U.S. Army class apart from Sniper. The in-game pistol has Inglis markings, implying that it is supposed to be a Canadian-made Inglis Hi-Power, but it also has wood grips which the Inglis pistols don't have.
High Standard HDM
The High Standard HDM is available only to the U.S. Army Sniper class. While having more ammunition than the Sniper's other pistols, its stopping power is somewhat limited due to its small cartridge.
Homemade pistol
An example of a 3-shot pistol made by the Việt Cộng appears in the shooting range in the Training Camp. It's one of two pistols in the game to be manually-operated.
Makarov PB
The Makarov PB is available to the Việt Cộng Sniper. Though accurate for the time period, no PBs were ever delivered to North Vietnam.
Makarov PM
The Makarov PM is available to all Việt Cộng classes except Sniper.
MAS M1935S
The leftover French MAS M1935S is available to all Việt Cộng classes apart from Sniper.
Mauser C96
The Mauser C96 is available to all Việt Cộng classes except the Sniper. An odd choice, but more than likely representing a mixture of Warlord era Chinese examples that showed up during the conflict.
Mk 22 Mod 0
The Mk 22 Mod 0 "Hush Puppy" is available exclusively to the U.S. Army Sniper. Other than being fitted with a sound suppressor and high-profile iron sights, it retains the same stats as the regular Smith & Wesson 39 below; its slide-locking lever is neither usable nor modeled, the pistol being incorrectly shown with a standard slide release lever.
Nambu Type 14
The transitional model of the Nambu Type 14 is available to all Việt Cộng classes except Sniper. The presence of the Nambu in-game is accurate, as Nambu Type 14s were used during the war, albeit sparingly.
Shanxi Type 17
A relic of the Warlord era, the Shansi Type 17 is available to the Việt Cộng Medic and Radioman. Unlike the regular C96, the Type 17 is a primary weapon (classed as a carbine in-game) and is permanently fitted with its holster stock.
Smith & Wesson 39-2
The Smith & Wesson 39-2 is available to all American classes except the Sniper.
Stechkin APS
The Stechkin APS is available to the Việt Cộng Medic, Engineer, and Radioman classes. Similarly to the Shanxi above, the Stechkin is a primary weapon, classed under the machine pistols category, and is fitted with its shoulder stock. When using the Stechkin APS akimbo however, the stock won't be attached.
Tokarev TT-33
The Tokarev TT-33 is available to all Việt Cộng classes except Sniper.
Type 67 silenced pistol
The Type 67 silenced pistol is available only to the Việt Cộng Sniper class. Like the PB, it's unknown if any Type 67's ended up in Vietnam, although one Type 64 was confirmed as a bringback by Mitchell WerBell III.
Walther P38
The Walther P38 is available to all Việt Cộng classes except Sniper, representing the many ex-German arms sent to the North Vietnamese by the Warsaw Pact. Alternately, they could be pistols left over from the French. A small inaccuracy is that empty shells eject from the right versus the left as in reality.
Walther PPK
The Walther PPK is available only to the U.S. Army Sniper class. The weapon has an 8-round capacity, implying a .22 LR chambering, but is at odds with its in-game model which claims it is in .380 ACP.
Welrod Mark II
The Welrod Mark II is currently only available in the Training Camp.
Revolvers
Revolvers in-game have three "selector" modes that affect the gun's performance: double-action (the player has to hold down the mouse button to fire but can be manually canceled), single-action (the player can fire instantly after cocking the hammer), and fan-firing (the player cannot aim but the revolver can fire much faster).
AAI QSPR
The AAI QSPR is available to every U.S. Army class except Sniper. As such, it is the only suppressed handgun available outside of the Sniper class.
Colt M1917
The Colt M1917 is only accessible through cheats; it is also only usable in dual-wielded mode, as its single variant uses the same model as the S&W Model 10 below.
Nagant M1895
The Nagant M1895 is available to the Việt Cộng Gunner and Radioman.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
The Smith & Wesson Model 10-7 is available to the American Gunner and Radioman. Another variant of the revolver can be accessed through cheats; this version is known as the "Colt M1917", and, unlike the dual-wield version, has an identical model to the Model 10.
"Colt M1917"
Smith & Wesson Model 12
The Smith & Wesson Model 12 is available to every American class except Sniper. In reality, it was only issued to the US Air Force.
Shotguns
Shotguns are available to the engineeer and radioman classes.
Ithaca 37 "Trench Gun"
The Ithaca 37 "Trench Gun" is available to the US enginer and radioman classes.
Manufrance Fusil Robust
The Manufrance Fusil Robust is available to the Vietcong enginer and radioman classes.
Sawed-off Manufrance Fusil Robust
Remington Model 870
A Remington Model 870 is available to the US enginer and radioman classes.
Winchester Model 1897 "Trench gun"
The Winchester Model 1897 "Trench gun" is available to the US enginer and radioman classes.
Submachine Guns / Machine Pistols
Available primarily to support classes (as well as the assault class which uses drum-fed variants), submachine guns are ideal for use in close quarters. With a fast fire rate but also poor accuracy, Submachine Guns are most effective in close quarters.
Beretta M12
The Beretta M12 is available to American medics, engineers, and radiomen. While not common, Beretta M12's did still make it to the war, with the most famous example being US Marines during the assault on the US Embassy in Saigon using them.
Carl Gustaf m/45B
The Carl Gustaf m/45B is available to American medics, engineers, and radiomen, with a SOG variant featuring a sound suppressor.
Carl Gustaf m/45B with suppressor
F1 Submachine Gun
The F1 SMG is available only at the shooting range, although it is set to be added with the ANZAC faction in a future update.
IMI Uzi
The IMI Uzi is available to the American medic, engineer, and radioman classes, with a suppressed SOG variant featuring reduced mobility, damage, and range. It was issued to special forces in small numbers.
Dual IMI Uzi
IMI Uzi with Sionics suppressor
Dual IMI Uzi with Sionics suppressor
K-50M
The K-50M, a Vietnamese variant of the PPSh-41, is available to the Vietcong medic, engineer, and radioman classes.
M3A1
The M3A1 Submachine Gun is available to the American medic, engineer, and radioman classes. Like with the M1A1 Thompson, a SOG variant featuring a sound suppressor is available.
OSS M3A1
Owen Mk 1/42
The Australian-made Owen Mk 1/42 is currently only available for use in the shooting range, although it is slated for use with ANZAC forces in a future update.
MAC-10
The MAC-10 is available to the American medic, engineer, and radioman classes. Like with its Vietnamese counterpart, a silenced counterpart is available. It was issued to special forces in the later stage of the war.
Dual MAC-10
MAC-10 with Sionics Two-Stage Sound Suppressor
Dual MAC-10 with Sionics Two-Stage Sound Suppressor
Madsen M50
The Madsen M50 is available to the American medic, engineer, and radioman classes. Visually similar to the Carl Gustav, differences include slightly increased stats. The Madsen was mainly used by South Vietnamese forces, but some were issused to Green Berrets in MIKE Force.
MAS-38
The MAS-38 is available to the Vietcong medic, engineer, and radioman classes.
MAT-49
The MAT-49 is available to the Vietcong medic, engineer, and radioman classes. The 35 round capacity denotes a Vietnam conversion to 7.62x25mm Tokarev.
MAT-49 SMG with suppressor
MP 40
The MP 40 is available to the Vietcong medic, engineer, and radioman classes. MP40's were a surprisingly common sub machine gun in the conflict, both from Warsaw Pact foreign aid and leftovers from French occupation.
PM-63 RAK
