Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D (2011)

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D (Biohazard: The Mercenaries 3D in Japan) is a third-person shooter video game developed exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS, based on the arcade "The Mercenaries" mode from Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. The characters, weapons, and most of the levels are from these two games.

The following weapons appear in the video game Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D:

Beretta 92FS

Chris's primary handgun is a Beretta 92FS. Holds an incorrect 20 rounds in the standard magazine.

Beretta 92FS "Samurai Edge" (Albert Wesker)

This modified Beretta 92FS Brigadier is wielded by Albert Wesker. The gun is from RE5, with all the features seen there such as the two-tone finish with standard and Inox parts, an extended rail mount, a skeleton hammer, an extended beavertail, and is equipped with a LAM-1000 under the barrel. It is more powerful than the standard 92FS, but holds only 9 rounds in the magazine.

Beretta 96FS "Samurai Edge"

This modified .40 S&W Beretta 96FS is Barry Burton's primary weapon. It has a longer barrel, compensator, and Brigadier slide. Like Wesker's Samurai Edge, it also has a nonexistent 9-round capacity. (The real 96 series have 10, 11, 12, 13 or 15-round magazines.)

Heckler & Koch P8

HUNK uses a H&K P8 pistol. Holds only 14 rounds instead of the correct 15.

Heckler & Koch VP70M

The H&K VP70M, a.k.a. "Matilda" is used by Claire Redfield. Has no stock, and holds only 15 rounds instead of the correct 18. Fires in semi-auto if the fire key is tapped, 3-round burst if the button is held; this isn't possible, as the VP70M can only fire in bursts if it is fitted with its stock.

IMI Desert Eagle Mark XIX

The Desert Eagle Mark XIX, or "Lightning Hawk" as the game refers to it is used by Wesker. It has an incorrect 7-round magazine. Eight or nine rounds would be the correct, as it classified as a "Magnum" weapon.

Mauser C96 Red 9

The Mauser C96 Red 9 is a hidden weapon, that can be used by any character once unlocked. It is very powerful and accurate, but holds only 3 rounds for some reason.

Silver Serpent

Barry Burton carries the "Silver Serpent", originally a Colt Python/Colt Anaconda hybrid from Resident Evil (2002). He only uses it in quick time events. Note that the base gun is a Smith & Wesson Model 500, like in Resident Evil 5's "Mercenaries Reunian" DLC.

Smith & Wesson Model 500

The Smith & Wesson Model 500 is the Magnum-type weapon used by Barry Burton. Holds a correct 5 rounds, but comes with no spare ammo.

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

The Heckler & Koch MP5A3 with red dot sight and dedicated forend weapon-light (both have aesthetic purposes only) is used by Rebecca Chambers. Holds 60 rounds in the standard magazine. During some levels it has a 90-round capacity.

Benelli M3 Super 90

The Benelli M3 Super 90 is used by Jill Valentine. Holds only 5 shells at max.

Hydra Sawed-off Shotgun

The devastating Hydra triple barrel sawed-off shotgun is used by Wesker. Just like in RE5, during reloads, the characters first insert two shells at once, and another one later.

Ithaca 37

The Ithaca 37 is used by Chris by default. Has a 6-shot magazine.

Assault Rifles

Sniper Rifles

Heckler & Koch PSG1

The Heckler & Koch PSG1 is used by Claire Redfield. Somehow it manages to hold 6 rounds in the 5-shot magazine. Its scope reticle is very similar to the PSG1's reticle in RE5.

Sako 75

The Sako 75 is featured in-game as the rifle of choice of Chris Redfield.

The SVD is used by Barry Burton. It is a powerful semi-auto weapon, with a ridiculous 4-shot magazine. As in RE5, the scope reticle looks nothing like the PSO-1's reticle.

Heavy Weapons

M134 Minigun

Just like in RE5, handheld Miniguns are used by Gatling Gun Majinis.

Milkor MGL Mk 1L

The standard, un-modified Milkor MGL Mk 1L firing frag rounds is used by Rebecca Chambers. It Holds only 4 grenades instead of the correct 6. Claire Redfield's and HUNK's MGLs are loaded with acid and flash rounds, respectively. They correctly hold 6 grenades.

A fictional version with two barrels can also be unlocked.
