The first season is created by Scott M. Gimple and David Zabel and directed by Daniel Percival, Tim Southam and Greg Nicotero. This season consists of six episodes featuring Daryl's journey in France. The season was premiered on September 10, 2023 on AMC.

The Beretta 92FS is used by The Cause soldier.

Flintlock Pistol

The Cause soldiers Richard (uncredited) and Jèrèmie (uncredited) carry a various Flintlock Pistols as their sidearms in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01).

Lepage Percussion Pistol

The Cause Lieutenant Codron (Romain Levi) carries Lepage Percussion Pistol with a folded bayonet as his main sidearm in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01). During the siege on the monastery, Cordon loses it, switching to a Luger. At the end of "Alouette" (S1E02), he returns to the monastery and retrieves the lost gun.

Luger P08

The Cause Lieutenant Codron (Romain Levi) carries a Luger P08 in an ankle holster in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01). He shoots at Daryl (Norman Reedus) the first time he sees him, but Dixon quickly snatches it.

But he manages to take possession of the pistol and shoots the owner.
However, when the Codron is cornered, the ammo runs out and the slide is pulled back.

French Model An XIII Cavalry Flintlock Pistol

After the attack on the monastery in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01), Daryl (Norman Reedus) picks up a French Model An XIII Cavalry Flintlock Pistol of a dead Cause soldier and puts down zombified Martin.

Daryl notices a pistol in the hands of a dead soldier. However, he only used a blunderbuss during the battle.
Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) aims the Model An XIII Cavalry flintlock pistol. Given the French setting, this Napoleonic gun is plausible though it is questionable whether such an antique weapon would be serviceable.

Unknown Pistol

The Cause soldier shoots another survivor with a gun. A member of Isabelle's group is also armed with a gun.

Unknown Snubnose Revolver

Quinn (Adam Nagaitis) briefly carries a snubnose revolver in a flashback from the beginning of the outbreak in "Alouette" (S1E02).

Getting out of his Mercedes Quinn holds the gun.
He hides the revolver at once, without showing it in its totality.

Sharps Rifle Gemmer Model 1874

The Cause soldier named Martin (Andy Deschamps) is armed with a Sharps Rifle Gemmer Model 1874 in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01). After the siege, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) takes the rifle and uses it in future episodes.

The Cause soldier Michel Codron (Paul Deby) is armed with a St. Etienne Mle. 1842 Musket when he meets Daryl, Maribelle, and Guillaume at the beginning of "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01). Later, another soldiers Jèrèmie (uncredited) and Philippe Poulin (Elias Hauter) hold the same rifles during the siege of the Abbey of Saint Bernadette.

Due to a continuity error, when the Cause soldiers enter the monastery in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01), Philippe Poulin (Elias Hauter)'s rifle becomes a some kind of percussion rifle with a bayonet, even though he uses a St. Etienne Mle. 1842 the rest of the time.

Blunderbuss

The Cause soldier is armed with a Blunderbuss during the raid on the Abbey of Saint Bernadette in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01). Sylvie (Laika Blanc Francard) also uses the Blunderbuss.

Sawed-off Double Barrel Shotgun

The Cause soldier named Henri (uncredited) is armed with a Sawed-off Double Barrel Shotgun at the beginning of "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01). During the fight, both Michel Codron (Paul Deby) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) briefly grab the gun. When Codron finds this place, one of his subordinates, Martin (Andy Deschamps), picks it up.

Crossbows

As Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) prepares to leave the monastery in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01), he examines an ancient crossbow. When Codron's squad arrives at the Abbey, one of the nuns takes the same crossbow. Daryl also uses another crossbow later.

The Abbey of Saint Bernadette Armory

As a medieval monastery, the Abbey of Saint Bernadette which is seen in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01) has an arsenal of swords, bows, spears and other ancient weapons. It also has a rack of World War II-era weapons collected by Père Jean.

Several bows are stored on the wall.
The rack holds a Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk III*, a M1 Garand, a MP40, a M1928A1 Thompson, what appears to be a Walther P38, and a Mle 1892 Revolver.
