Madeleine Stowe born 18th August 1958 in Eagle Rock, California. The eldest of three sisters, inherited from parents Anglo-Costa Rican Origin. When she was ten years old, started going to piano lessons in order to become a professional pianist. After the unfortunate death of her teacher to abandon the plans for good and went to study journalism at the University of California Sounthern. During the study volunteered to Solaris theater, where she was first noticed spotter and offered her work in television films. After longer performing in productions for the television came in 1987 the first major film role. Crime-comedy Stakeout (1987), where Madeleine starred alongside Richard Dreyfuss and Emilio Estevez in the eighties was one of the most successful commercial film of Disney studio. The following projects, thriller romance Revenge (1990) with Kevin Costner and Anthony Quinn or crime drama The Two Jakes (1990) with Jack Nicholson and Harvey Keitel in the eyes of her fans pigeonholed film actress as supporting characters. In 1992, she played the female heroine in a historical drama Oscar The Last of the Mohicans, and finally drew to himself the eyes of critics and audiences. From the moment the film was an international success with Madeleine Stowe became a popular Hollywood actress and film offers started pouring. In drama directed by Robert Altman titled Short Cuts (1993) embodies a wife of Tim Robbins, in subsequent frames Blink (1994), China Moon (1994) or Bad Girls (1994) played mostly femmes fatales, trying to change his fate. After returning she filmed the thriller from military environment called The General's Daughter (1999), starring alongside John Travolta. Although it has never failed to build on previous successes, is still in the course and the last major milestone in her career remains a war drama We Were Soldiers about the Vietnam War, where he also worked with Mel Gibson. The current interest is mainly in television. Madeleine is married to actor Brian Benben and with their daughter named May living at ranch in Texas, where the likeable actress spends all their free time.
