I dunno, this really doesn't look like a compact 4006, more like a full-size 5906 to me.--Pølaris 19:03, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

I've heard it refered to by everything. About the only thing people can agree on is it is a third gen S&W automatic. Personally I think its a 4516.

In "2:00am-3:00am" (S3E14), Kim Bauer (Elisha Cuthbert) takes a Smith & Wesson 5904 off a slain CTU guard and holds it on Nina Meyers (Sarah Clarke).

Walther PPK
+
Smith & Wesson SW99
Stolen out of the Hotel Security Chief's desk by an employee attempting to escape the hotel, it appears briefly in several scenes before Michelle Dessler confronts and disarms the employee. The hammer is the give away that the pistol is a PPK and not a SIG-Sauer P232, that and the general shape of the gun is radically different. A PPK was handed to Jack to "kill" Chase, but is not loaded.
+
The Smith & Wesson SW99 is seen used by Jack, CTU Agent Tom Baker (Daniel Dae Kim), as well as Salazar henchmen. The pistol, distinguishable by the curved trigger guard, is the cheaper American-made copy of the Walther P99.
If you look closer, the pistol is not a Walther PPK, but a copy.  It is most likely an Erma Excam RX22 (the barrel appears to be .22) but it could also be the Iver Johnson copy as well. Nina also carries one when Jack kills her bodyguards.

In Day 3 of 24, CTU Agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is asked to recover a deadly virus that's been threatened to be released in several cities throughout the country while he secretly battles a drug addiction he picked up while on an undercover assignment.

The following weapons were used in Season 3 of the television series 24:

Pistols

Beginning in Season 3, the Heckler & Koch USP Compact replaces the SIG-Sauer P228 as the weapon of choice for Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) (although he previously used full-size USPs in several episodes of Seasons 1 and 2).

TRIVIA: There were only two H&K USP Compacts used by Kiefer Sutherland through the entire run of the series. This was because Kiefer is a method actor and did not like to change props. He only wore 3 real kevlar bullet proof vests through out all 8 seasons. (IMFDB thanks The Golden Closet for providing the documentation on this gun.)
