The following weapons appear in the video game Tomb Raider (2013):
Handguns
Beretta 92SB
The Beretta 92SB is the first weapon Lara acquires after the makeshift bow. It is also used by many other characters, including Reyes and Vlad. Can be upgraded with a 3-round burst secondary fire mod, high capacity magazine, port vented slide, muzzle brake and rapid fire mod. The 92SB is depicted to be a DAO pistol, with a slide that locks back whenever a reload is initiated. Listed simply as "Semi-Automatic Pistol". For the sneaky-type players, a toggle-able sound suppressor can be unlocked via a DLC. After the helicopter crash, Lara replaces her Beretta with a Remington 1911 (see below).
Beretta 92SB with wooden grips - 9x19mm
A close-up shot of Reyes' Beretta as she shoots a bear trap to free Lara's leg.
Lara tries to shoot Vlad with his own Beretta 92SB.
Lara with an empty 92SB pistol.
Weapon customization view of the 92SB. The
93R-style folding grip is added after unlocking the burst fire mod. Strangely, the extended mag holds only 10 rounds, even though it is modeled after a 20-round Beretta mag. Also note how the 92SB's icon shows a
Heckler & Koch USP Match, likely recycled from one of the previous TR games.
And the Beretta fitted with an M1911-style slide. Whoever came up with the idea of this slide was fine with (or oblivious to) the fact that the gun now has no safety lever. A Brigadier or Elite slide would have been a better (and more realistic) choice.
Lara fires her mutant Beretta upside down. During these parts the pistol has unlimited ammunition.
Alex with his Beretta 92SB while warding off Mathias' goons during a bizarre sequence where Lara must acquire the only wrench and screwdriver on the entire island from him, despite that she is able to make a fully-functional rifle scope from random bits of junk.
Remington Model 1911 R1 Enhanced
After the helicopter crash, Lara obtains a Remington Model 1911 R1 Enhanced pistol, which replaces her Beretta. All the upgrades installed on the 92SB will also appear on the 1911. Oddly, all the upgrades will be seen on the weapon when they are in Roth's possession, however once Lara obtains them, the upgrades will be stripped away until they are made. Additional upgrades are the enhanced magazine well and ergonomic grip panels. The 1911 can also take the suppressor of the Beretta. Referred to as "Tactical Pistol". Every cutscene and even the ingame model has the hammer down.
Remington Model 1911 R1 Enhanced - .45 Auto
Lara holds a Remington Model 1911 R1 Enhanced on the pilot, forcing him to land the chopper before the storm fries them alive. A very similar scene is also present in
Far Cry 3, when the main protagonist uses a
Kimber Warrior (a slightly different M1911 clone) to force the pilot to fly away. Here, Lara tries to persuade the pilot to land. Note the hammer is down.
Roth opens fire at Mathias and his goons after the helicopter crash.
Close-up of Roth's customized Remingtons. Note "Enhanced" written on the slide.
Weapon modification view of the Remington Model 1911 R1 Enhanced pistol, shown with the port vented slide, rapid fire mod extended mag, muzzle brake, optional suppressor, ergonomic grip, hair trigger, magazine well, and 3-round burst fire mod.
Sneaky Lara - or should we say
Sam(antha) Fisher - prepares to kill an unaware bad guy with a suppressed 1911.
Lara kills a boar with her 1911 pistol. Note how it has a standard
M1911A1-style hammer by default.
Desert Eagle Mark XIX
Finding all three handgun parts will upgrade the 1911 to a customized Desert Eagle Mark XIX. The Desert Eagle receives three additional upgrades; the 12-round extended magazine, the polished barrel, and the muzzle brake. Referred to as "Magnum Pistol". The weapon's description in MP states that it fires .50 caliber bullets. In MP, it is unlocked at Level 20 for the Solarii faction.
Desert Eagle Mark XIX - .50 AE
Lara wields a fully upgraded Desert Eagle pistol.
Lara wields a Desert Eagle Mark XIX and a Remington 1911 R1 Enhanced pistol "akimbo" style near the end of the game. After this, using dual pistols became a standard for her in the other games.
Smoker reloads his Desert Eagle in multiplayer.
Customization view of the Desert Eagle pistol. The non-fluted barrel confirms that the gun uses .50 caliber bullets, however this way the "Magnum Pistol" name for it is incorrect.
Customization view of the Desert Eagle pistol. While it has a Beretta-style safety switch, the tall cocking serrations indicate that the Mark XIX version of the Desert Eagle was used as the base gun. Note how that magazine could hold even 20 rounds easily.
FN FNP-9
Reyes and Dr. Whitman are seen with FN FNP-9 pistols at the beach near the climax of the game.
FN FNP-9 pistol with stainless slide - 9x19mm
Reyes with an FNP-9 pistol.
Dr. Whitman holds an FNP-9. Note the different grips and the missing de-cocking lever.
Heckler & Koch USP Match
The default icon for handguns in the game is shaped after a Heckler & Koch USP Match.

The Heckler & Koch USP Match as the pistol icon.
AMT Hardballer
The AMT Hardballer (a.k.a. the "Silverballer") from Hitman: Absolution is a DLC weapon that is usable in multiplayer. The Silverballer is equipped with an unusable laser sight and extended barrel.
Steph poses with a customized AMT Hardballer pistol.
Steph fires the Silverballer.
SIG-Sauer P226
The SIG-Sauer P226R from Hitman: Absolution is a DLC weapon that is usable in multiplayer. Referred to as "JAGD P22G".
Despite the game featuring Spawn Protection, Spawn Trapping is still an effective method to end a match quickly.
Reloading the two-tone P226.
Submachine Guns
Type 100
The Type 100 submachine gun appears as the "WWII Submachine Gun", yet it is classified as a rifle. Can be upgraded with a high-cap magazine, padded stock for reduced recoil (this is somehow achieved by wrapping duct tape around the stock, mostly the sides), muzzle brake, taped mags, and polished ejector (which increases the ROF). In multiplayer, the Type 100 is a Survivor weapon.
Lara finds a Type 100 submachine gun in a Japanese World War II bunker.
Lara executes a scavenger trapped under a piece of concrete. Scenes like this surely helped the game to get an "M" rating by ESRB. This is a first for a TR game.
Customization view of the Type 100, here shown with the padded stock upgrade. Note how its icon is a
Heckler & Koch HK91A2.
One of Mathias' goons with his Type 100 moments before Alex ignites the gas behind them.
Shotguns
Winchester M1912
The Winchester Model 1912 is a powerful close-range weapon, found on a long-dead U.S. Marine after encountering some giant Samurai warriors. The M1912 can be modded with a barrel shroud, full choke, polished bolt, padded grip and front grip.
Winchester Model 1912 "Trench Gun" with heat shield and bayonet lug - 12 gauge
Lara blows away a crazed scavenger with a stock Model 1912 shotgun.
Customization view of the Winchester M1912 tuned into a "Trench Gun".
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
Finding enough shotgun parts will "upgrade" the Winchester Model 1912 to a Mossberg 500 Cruiser with a wood foregrip, a vent-rib barrel, and a rail on top of the receiver. The Mossberg 500 Cruiser can be further upgraded with incendiary shells, modified receiver, more stock padding and oddly enough two sizes of detachable magazines. When all of the upgrades are installed the resulting weapon looks like a Mossberg 500-SPAS-12 hybrid with a drum mag. All the upgrades installed on the Winchester Model 1912 will also appear on the Mossberg 500 shotgun.
Mossberg 500 Cruiser - 12 gauge
Lara Croft with her partially upgraded Mossberg 500 Cruiser after acquiring the grenade launcher for her AK. Here you can see it lacks the tang-safety of a Mossberg 500, but in the next image...
...It also lacks the crossbar safety of the Mossberg Maverick 88. This is the customization view of the Mossberg 500 Cruiser.
Franchi SPAS-12
In the single-player campaign, finding enough shotgun parts will "upgrade" the Mossberg 500 Cruiser to a Franchi SPAS-12, which is the final upgrade of the "Shotgun" series of weapons. All the upgrades installed on the Mossberg 500 Cruiser will also appear on the SPAS-12.
The customized Franchi SPAS-12 from Hitman: Absolution is a DLC weapon for the MP part of the game. Called the "Agency SPS 12 Shotgun".

Lara draws out her shotgun while exploring the seemingly desolate kingdom of the Yamatai. The jacket she is wearing is unlockable with the Aviatrix Skin DLC.
Lara shoots a samurai warrior with an incendiary shell.
Reyes reloads her SPAS-12 during a multiplayer match. This is the standard SPAS-12 in the game.
Steph with the "Agency SPS-12" shotgun. Even though the description says that it is semi-auto, it operates in pump-action.
Steph reloads the "Agency SPS-12" shotgun.
Mossberg 590
A Mossberg 590 with a heat-shield from Hitman: Absolution is a DLC weapon. Referred to as "M590 12GA".
Mossberg 590 with ghost ring sights and speedfeed stock - 12 gauge
A Solarii holds a Mossberg 590 shotgun.

Rifles
AK-47
Finding enough Rifle Parts will "upgrade" the Type 100 submachine gun to an AK-47 assault rifle (one can only assume the three upgrade parts are the barrel, receiver and stock and Lara upgrades the Type 100 by throwing it away). All the upgrades installed on the Type 100 will also appear on the AK. After escaping the Solarii camp, Lara finds and mounts a homemade grenade launcher on the AK, granting a secondary fire mode. In MP, the AK is usable only by the Solarii faction. Also note when Lara is holding the AK, her hand has the thumb not forming a complete grip because it is the same as when she held the Type 100.
Some aspects of the weapon, especially the size of the magazine, seem to have been based on an image of an extremely bizarre Chechen AK derivative using welded-together SVD magazines.
Final Production version of the Type III AK-47 with cleaning rod removed and laminated stock - 7.62x39mm
Chechen AK derivative using welded-together SVD magazines - (presumably) 7.62x54mm R
Lara opens fire with her AK fitted with an upgraded stock and dual magazines. Due to a bug / glitch, the gas block and gas tube of the rifle sometimes disappears.
Lara holds an even further upgraded AK.
Customization view of the AK-47.
Lara grabs the homemade grenade launcher when confronted by Nikolai.
Lara mounts the homemade grenade launcher on her AK-47. Note that it is actually already mounted on the AK, a continuity error caused by swapping out the gun model at the wrong point in the cutscene. This does not happen if the weapon has not been "upgraded" and is still a Type 100.
AKS-74U
A modified AKS-74U appears as the "Fully Automatic Pistol" (it is technically an assault rifle, but some US states define any weapon with a short barrel and no stock as a 'pistol' to avoid federal regulations regarding short-barrelled rifles) and is an unlockable secondary weapon in MP. Holds only 24 rounds and is usable by the Survivors.
Sam wields an AKS-74U with a stripped down fore-end and the stock removed. Using it one handed would be nearly impossible on account of the recoil.
Sam fires the modified AKS-74U.
Steph fires her AKS-74U while being in "Last Stand".
FN FAL 50.63
The FN FAL 50.63 from Hitman: Absolution is a DLC weapon. Referred to as "STG 58 Elite".
FN FAL 50.63 - 7.62x51mm NATO
Victor holds a FAL 50.63 rifle.
Heckler & Koch HK416
The HK416 from Hitman: Absolution is a DLC weapon. Referred to as "HX AP-15". It always comes with a red dot scope.
Heckler & Koch HK416 - 5.56x45mm NATO
Smoker scans the area with his HK416 at the ready.
Father Mathias pulls the charging handle of the HK416.
A Heckler & Koch HK416 with a red dot scope visible on a Solarii trooper's back as he is operating a machine gun.
M14 Rifle
The M14 Rifle appears as the "Marksman Rifle" and features a skeletal buttstock made of scrap metal. Appears only in multiplayer and is usable only by the Solarii faction. Limited to semi-automatic fire.
Smoker pulls the charging handle of his M14 rifle. The selector switch is visible on the receiver, indicating that it is an M14 not an M1A, even thought it is semi-auto only.
Smoker aims the customized M14 rifle.
Heckler & Koch HK91A2
A Heckler & Koch HK91A2 is used as the default rifle icon.
The Heckler & Koch HK91A2 icon to the left.
Gewehr 43
Roth provides Lara sniper cover in the single player game with a rather low-detailed Gewehr 43. It is only seen in this cutscene and heard during the following segment. It cannot be used by the player.
Gewehr 43 with ZF 4 scope - 7.92x57mm Mauser
Roth shoots the two Solari fighters attacking Lara. Note the somewhat large magazine.
Roth with his sniper rifle as Lara announces her plan to cross a bridge leading to a Japanese castle. Note the lack of rear sights, although it could be the result of finding an old rifle in disrepair.
A view of the reticule of the Gewehr 43's telescopic sight.
Roth looks through the telescopic sight of his Gewehr 43 as he agrees to cover her entrance into the castle.
Light Machine Gun
Ultimax 100 Mark 3
Despite its name, the "Commando Rifle" is actually based on the Ultimax 100 Mark 3 light machine gun. It is the final weapon in the "Rifle" category. Can be upgraded with a toggle-able suppressor, match grade barrel, and scope. In multiplayer, it is a Survivor weapon.
Ultimax 100 Mark 3 - 5.56x45mm NATO
Lara holds a fully modified Ultimax 100. In this state, the Ultimax barely resembles the base gun, looking like the end result of smashing an AK, Ultimax, and flamethrower together.
Lara test-fires her newly acquired "Commando Rifle".
Customization view of the "Commando Rifle". Noteworthy inaccuracy is that the real Ultimax series use STANAG mags, while this is shown with an AK-type magazine.
Steph reloads the multiplayer version of the "Commando Rifle".
Other
Home-made Grenade Launcher
The grenade launcher Lara finds partway through the game for her SMG / assault rifle / machine gun is based on a photograph of a home-made Chechen launcher confiscated by Russian police, designed to use the same 40mm caseless ammunition as the Russian GP-25 / GP-30 series.
Home-made Chechen launcher designed for Russian caseless ammunition - 40mm
Lara grabs the homemade grenade launcher when confronted by Nikolai. Note it is the same as the above launcher, but the pistol grip has been switched for the straight foregrip and a small extension has been added to the back. It has also been switched to a lefty cocking handle due to videogame rules.
Lara mounts the homemade grenade launcher on her AK-47. Note that it is actually already mounted on the AK (with the barrel missing), a continuity error caused by swapping out the gun model at the wrong point in the cutscene. This does not happen if the weapon has not been "upgraded" and is still a Type 100. Note that the straps on the attached launcher immobilise the striker and would make it impossible for the launcher to fire.
TM-46 Anti-Tank Mine
The TM-46 anti-tank mine is usable in multiplayer. It is a Survivor equipment unlocked after reaching Level 15. The Solarii are using booby-trapped ammo boxes instead of these mines.
Outfitting image and description of the TM-46 mine.
Reyes looks at a TM-46 AT mine during a multiplayer team deathmatch.
Handheld "Minigun"
A handheld rotary gun is a special weapon in multiplayer. It does not seem to based on any real minigun model, though its barrel clamp locations appear to have been referenced from an M61 Vulcan.

Roth wields a the fictional minigun.
Roth spins up the handheld minigun.
Type 1 Heavy Machine Gun
Sometimes the Solarii are seen using Japanese Type 1 heavy machine guns. A handheld version is usable in MP.
