Military Conflict: Vietnam is a Vietnam War-oriented, fast-paced action video game running on the 2013 branch of Valve's Source engine.

Sidearms
Pistols
With the exception of pistols for snipers (which are integrally suppressed), all pistols are ideal for close quarters or as a last resort.

The Colt M1911A1 is available to all American classes except the sniper.

FN Baby Browning
The diminutive FN Baby Browning (originally exclusive to gun game mode) is available to American assault, gunner, engineer, and radioman classes. Its usage in-game stems from MACV-SOG teams being issued with pistols as a last resort gun.

The Mauser C96 is available to all Vietcong classes except the marksman. An odd choice, but more than likely representing a mixture of Warlord era Chinese examples that showed up during the conflict.
Mk 22 Mod 0
The Mk 22 Mod 0 is available to the American sniper. Other than being fitted with a sound suppressor and high-profile iron sights, it retains the same stats as the regular Model 39 below; its slide-locking lever is neither usable nor modeled, the pistol being incorrectly shown with a standard slide release lever.

Nambu Type 14 (transitional model)
The Nambu Type 14 (transitional model) is available to all Vietcong classes. The presence of the Nambu in-game is accurate, Nambu Type 14's were used during the war, albeit sparingly.

A relic of the Warlord era, the Shansi Type 17 is available to the Vietcong Medic class, distinguished from its German counterpart by its detachable stock, higher damage, and less mobility.

Walther P38
The Walther P38 is available to all Vietcong classes, representing the many ex-German arms sent to the North Vietnamese by the Warsaw Pact. Alternately, they could be pistols left over from the French. A small inaccuracy is that empty shells eject from the right versus the left as in reality.

Homemade Viet Cong 3-shot pistol
An example of a 3-shot pistol made by the Viet-Cong appears in the shooting range, it's the only other pistol in the game to be manual only besides the Welrod Mark II seen above.
Revolvers
Revolvers in-game have three "selector" modes that affect the gun's performance: double-action' (the player has to hold down the mouse button to fire but can be manually canceled), single-action (the player can fire after cocking the hammer), and fan-firing (the player cannot aim but the revolver can fire faster).

The flare guns function similarly to ones in Battlefield 1 as when they are shot; they reveal enemies in a small area around the flare.

The M8 flare pistol is available to the American sniper class.
Type 97 flare pistol
The Japanese Type 97 flare pistol is available to the Vietcong sniper class. Although it's possible some were left over from the Japanese occupation in WWII; North Vietnam mainly used Chinese copies of the SPSh Flare Pistol.

Shotguns are available to the engineeer and radioman classes.
Ithaca 37 "Trench Gun"
The Ithaca 37 "Trench Gun" is available to the US enginer and radioman classes.
Manufrance Fusil Robust
The Manufrance Fusil Robust is available to the Vietcong enginer and radioman classes.

A Remington Model 870 is available to the US enginer and radioman classes.

The Winchester Model 1897 "Trench gun" is available to the US enginer and radioman classes.
Submachine Guns / Machine Pistols
Available primarily to support classes (as well as the assault class which uses drum-fed variants), submachine guns are ideal for use in close quarters. With a fast fire rate but also poor accuracy, Submachine Guns are most effective in close quarters.
Beretta M12
The Beretta M12 is available to American medics, engineers, and radiomen. While not common, Beretta M12's did still make it to the war, with the most famous example being US Marines during the assault on the US Embassy in Saigon using them.

The Carl Gustaf m/45B is available to American medics, engineers, and radiomen, with a SOG variant featuring a sound suppressor.

The F1 SMG is available only at the shooting range, although it is set to be added with the ANZAC faction in a future update.
IMI Uzi
The IMI Uzi is available to the American medic, engineer, and radioman classes, with a suppressed SOG variant featuring reduced mobility, damage, and range. It was issued to special forces in small numbers.

K-50M
The K-50M, a Vietnamese variant of the PPSh-41, is available to the Vietcong medic, engineer, and radioman classes.

The M3A1 Submachine Gun is available to the American medic, engineer, and radioman classes. Like with the M1A1 Thompson, a SOG variant featuring a sound suppressor is available.

Owen Mk 1/42
The Australian-made Owen Mk 1/42 is currently only available for use in the shooting range, although it is slated for use with ANZAC forces in a future update.
MAC-10
The MAC-10 is available to the American medic, engineer, and radioman classes. Like with its Vietnamese counterpart, a silenced counterpart is available. It was issued to special forces in the later stage of the war.

Madsen M50
The Madsen M50 is available to the American medic, engineer, and radioman classes. Visually similar to the Carl Gustav, differences include slightly increased stats. The Madsen was mainly used by South Vietnamese forces, but some were issused to Green Berrets in MIKE Force.
MAS-38
The MAS-38 is available to the Vietcong medic, engineer, and radioman classes.
MAT-49
The MAT-49 is available to the Vietcong medic, engineer, and radioman classes. The 35 round capacity denotes a Vietnam conversion to 7.62x25mm Tokarev.

MP 40
The MP 40 is available to the Vietcong medic, engineer, and radioman classes. MP40's were a surprisingly common sub machine gun in the conflict, both from Warsaw Pact foreign aid and leftovers from French occupation.
PM-63 RAK
The PM-63 RAK is available to the Vietcong medic, engineer, and radioman classes, albeit it is inaccurately labelled as Soviet-made instead of Polish.

PPS-43
The PPS-43 is available to the medic, engineer, and radioman classes as the Vietcong counterpart to the Grease Gun, though without a sound suppressor.
PPSh-41
The PPSh-41 is available to all Vietcong classes with the exception of the sniper; while the assault class uses the 71-round drum variant, the rest uses the smaller 35-round box magazine.

Sa vz. 48B
The Czechoslovak-made Sa vz. 48B is available to the Vietcong medic, engineer, and radioman classes. The 40 round capacity denotes it as a 9mm example, which were exported heavily to North Vietnam once declared obsolete by Czechoslovakia in 1968.

The Sa vz. 61 Škorpion is available to the Vietcong medic, engineer, and radioman classes. A variant with its stock extended and a suppressor is available, slightly reducing its damage, range, and mobility due to the suppressor's bulk.

The lighter Thompson M1A1 is available to the American medic, engineer, and radioman classes. A SOG variant without its stock is available, increasing mobility but reducing accuracy.

The Thompson M1928 with its bulky 50-round drum magazine is available to the American assault class. The M1928 was retired by the US after WWII, though it was supplied to South Vietnam.

Carbines are available to the assault class; and can be equipped with bayonets and rifle grenades. The category includes semiautomatic carbines.

The M1A1 Carbine is available to the US assault class.

Assault Rifles / Carbines (full-auto)
The cream and butter of soldiers and guerilla fighters alike, assault rifles are dominant in medium-range combat.
AK-47
The venerable AK-47 in its Type 3 configuration is available to the Vietcong assault class.
AKM
The improved AKM is available to the Vietcong assault class. The AKM was sent to the given to the Vietcong and PAVN during the Vietnam War as part of Soviet aid, albeit fairly late into the war.

AMD-65
The AMD-65 is available to the Vietcong assault and radioman classes. It's inclusion is interesting, like the AKM and later Pm. 63, they were very late comers to the conflict and saw limited use.
Colt / ArmaLite Model 601
The immediate predecessor to the M16 series, the Colt / ArmaLite Model 601 is available to the American assault class.
Colt Model 607
The Colt Model 607 appears as the "XM607". It is available to the American assault and medic classes. A variant with a 4x scope is also available for the assault class.

The Colt Model 656 appears as a sniper rifle for the U.S. Marsksmen class.
Harrington & Richardson T223
A license-produced HK33 made in Worcester, Massachusetts, the Harrington & Richardson T223 is available to the American assault class. A peculiar choice for inclusion, as only two documented members of Seal Team 2 ever used the rifle.

The M2 Carbine is available to the American assault class.

M16A1
The ever-classic M16A1, for obvious reasons, makes an appearance with its 20-round magazine is available to the American assault class. A variant featuring the M203 grenade launcher is available with less mobility.

Mk 4 Mod 0
PM md. 63
The PM md. 63 is available for the Vietcong assault class. Like the aforementioned other AKM varaints, its inclusion is questionable.
Sa vz. 58 P
The visually similar but unrelated Sa vz. 58 P is available to the Vietcong assault class.
StG 44
The StG 44 is available to the Vietcong assault and radioman classes, with the assault class having a extra variant with a ZF-4 telescopic sight but a reduced magazine capacity. While rare, surplus STG's were a common military aid rifle given to the North Vietnamese by the Warsaw Pact during the conflict, alongside stockpiles of ex-French examples.

Stoner 63A assault rifle
The full-length Stoner 63A in its assault rifle configuration is available to the American assault class. The shorter carbine variant with a reduced fire rate and range for ease of use in close quarters is available to the radioman.

The Chinese-made Type 56-1 with its under-folding stock is available to the Vietcong assault class.
Type 58
The North Korean-made Type 58 is available to the Vietcong assault class.
Type 63
The Type 63 without its folding bayonet is available to the Vietcong assault class. Visually similar to the SKS, it uses the rotating bolt system of the AK-47.

Wz. 60 Karabinek-granatnik
The Polish-made Wz. 60 Karabinek-granatnik (a license-produced AK-47, specialized in firing rifle grenades) is available to the Vietcong assault class. Its damage compared to the AK-47 is slightly reduced, but it obtains the ability to launch rifle grenades with a set fuse time of 3 or 5 seconds.
XM177E2
The XM177E2 appears as the "XM177E2". It is available to the American assault and medic classes. A variant with a 4x scope is also available for the assault class, along with an S.O.G variant with a foregrip.

Battle Rifles/Semi-Auto Sniper rifles
Harder-hitting than assault rifles with a greater range, battle rifles suffer in close quarters in addition to a reduced magazine capacity.
Dragunov SVD
The Dragunov SVD is available to the Vietcong sniper class.
L1A1
The L1A1 is only available in the firing range, but will be added with the ANZAC faction in a future update. Other variants of the L1A1 in-game includes a shortened variant of a modified FAL, fittingly titled "the Bitch".

The M21 (the marksman variant of the M14 with the selector permanently fixed to "semi" in addition to a scope), is available to the American sniper.

Karabiner 98k
The Karabiner 98k is available to the Vietcong assault class.A scoped variant is available to the sniper. The Soviet Union captured a number of these rifles during WWII and later donated them to North Vietnam.

The LON-1 rifle grenade launcher serves as an adapter for the F-1N-60 rifle grenade. It can be mounted on the Karabiner 98k, MAS-49, Mosin Nagant M38 Carbine, Mosin Nagant M91-30, Type 63 and the Wz. 60 Karabinek-granatnik (In reality it was only mounted on the WZ. 60).
M7A3 Rifle Grenade Launcher
The M7A3 Rifle Grenade Launcher serves as an adapter for the M17 rifle grenade. It can be mounted on the M1 Garand, M2 Carbine, M14 and the Springfield M1903A3.

The M72 LAW is available to the American engineer class.

"Chicom Frag Grenade"
The "Chicom Frag Grenade" is available to the Vietcong Assault, medic, gunner and sniper classes. It is based on the French Citron Foug Grenade.
"Chicom High Explosive"
The "Chicom High Explosive" is available to the Vietcong Assault, medic, gunner and sniper classes. It is a stick grenade bearing some resemblance to the Japanese Type 98 grenade.
"Chicom Mine"
The "Chicom Mine" is available to the Vietcong engineer class. It is an improvised mine based on a Chinese hand grenade; it appears to be a grey copy of the RG-42 hand grenade with chinese instructions written on the body. It is planted as a boobytrap using a thread, which upon pressure detonates the mine.

F-1N-60 rifle grenade
The F-1N-60 rifle grenade can be mounted on the Karabiner 98k, MAS-49, Mosin Nagant M38 Carbine, Mosin Nagant M91-30, Type 63 and the Wz. 60 Karabinek-granatnik (In reality it was only used with the Wz. 60).

The M16 Mine is available to the American engineer class; It is planted as a boobytrap using a thread, which upon pressure detonates the mine.
M17 Rifle Grenade
The M17 Rifle Grenade is available to the American assault class. It can be fired from the M1 Garand, M2 Carbine, M14 and Springfield M1903A3. (in reality it was only used with the Garand). The M17 is unlikely to have been used in the Vietnam War as it was replaced in 1944 by standard hand grenades fitted with an adapter.
