Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared, The
The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared is a 2013 Swedish film comedy directed by Felix Herngren based on the novel of the same name by Jonas Jonasson. After a long and eventful life, Allan Karlsson ends up in a retirement home, believing his days are numbered and bored to death. On his 100th birthday, the senior citizen, who still enjoys excellent health, decides to escape the tedium of the home and unceremoniously climbs out the window. What follows is a series of unexpected events that lead him on a long journey. On this journey, he meets a group of serious criminals, finds a suitcase full of money, encounters an elephant, makes the acquaintance of an incompetent policeman, and makes new friends. For Allan, however, none of this is really out of the ordinary, because it turns out that he was involved in a large part of the most significant events of the 20th century; sometimes more and sometimes less directly.
The following weapons were used in the film The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared:
Allan Karlsson (Robert Gustafsson) is gifted with a golden plated Colt 1851 Navy from General Francisco Franco (Koldo Losada).
Hans Claesson aka Hinken (Sven Lönn) carries a Colt M1911A1. During one slideshow, some American agents appear also using Colt pistols.
Smith & Wesson Model 66
What appears to be snub-nosed Smith & Wesson Model 66 is used by Gäddan (Jens Hultén).
A Soviet agent is seen firing a suppressed pistol.
Various Soviet soldiers have PPS-43 submachine guns.
Some PPSh-41 are also carried by Soviet soldiers.
Mauser 98 Sporter
Mauser 98 Sporter rifles are carried by Esteban (Manuel Dubra) and other members of the Spanish Republican Brigade.
Spanish Republican fighters are also seen with Steyr Mannlicher M1895 rifles.
Instead of their Mauser variants, General Franco's men are armed with Karabiner 98ks.
American and Soviet soldiers carry SKS rifles. A scoped version is very briefly seen operated by a Soviet sniper.
Mosin Nagant M1891/30
Numerous Soviet soldiers at the Gulag labor camp can also be seen wielding Mosin Nagant M91/30s.
At least one of the Spanish Republican fighters is seen with an unknown rifle.
76 mm divisional gun M1942 (ZiS-3)
Several Soviet 76 mm divisional gun M1942 (ZiS-3) are seen at the Hälleforsnäs cannon foundry which are anachronistic for the flashback setting in 1936.
An F-1 hand grenade is discovered by Herbert Einstein (David Shackleton) in the Gulag's "laundry".
Double Barreled Shotgun
Gunilla (Mia Skäringer) owns a 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun.
