The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared is a 2013 Swedish film comedy directed by Felix Herngren based on the novel of the same name by Jonas Jonasson. After a long and eventful life, Allan Karlsson ends up in a retirement home, believing his days are numbered and bored to death. On his 100th birthday, the senior citizen, who still enjoys excellent health, decides to escape the tedium of the home and unceremoniously climbs out the window. What follows is a series of unexpected events that lead him on a long journey. On this journey, he meets a group of serious criminals, finds a suitcase full of money, encounters an elephant, makes the acquaintance of an incompetent policeman, and makes new friends. For Allan, however, none of this is really out of the ordinary, because it turns out that he was involved in a large part of the most significant events of the 20th century; sometimes more and sometimes less directly.

Colt 1851 Navy

Allan Karlsson (Robert Gustafsson) is gifted with a golden plated Colt 1851 Navy from General Francisco Franco (Koldo Losada).

Colt M1911A1

Hans Claesson aka Hinken (Sven Lönn) carries a Colt M1911A1. During one slideshow, some American agents appear also using Colt pistols.

While taking cover behind the circus bus he notices that he slide is still in the backwards position.
He holds Allan hostage to get the suitcase.
The left side of the grip is visible as he brandishes it back and forth.

Smith & Wesson Model 66

What appears to be snub-nosed Smith & Wesson Model 66 is used by Gäddan (Jens Hultén).

Mauser 98 Sporter

Mauser 98 Sporter rifles are carried by Esteban (Manuel Dubra) and other members of the Spanish Republican Brigade.

Mannlicher M1895

Spanish Republican fighters are also seen with Steyr Mannlicher M1895 rifles.

Instead of their Mauser variants, General Franco's men are armed with Karabiner 98ks.

Simonov SKS

American and Soviet soldiers carry SKS rifles. A scoped version is very briefly seen operated by a Soviet sniper.

At least one of the Spanish Republican fighters is seen with an unknown rifle.

Several Soviet 76 mm divisional gun M1942 (ZiS-3) are seen at the Hälleforsnäs cannon foundry which are anachronistic for the flashback setting in 1936.
