The Big Gundown (Italian: La Resa dei Conti, lit. The Settling of Scores) is a 1967 Italian Spaghetti Western film directed by Sergio Sollima and starring Lee Van Cleef and Tomás Milián as Jonatan Corbertt and "Cuchillo" (respectively).
Jonatan Corbett, an honorable bounty hunter of great reputation decides to leave his profession to run for the senate at the request of tycoon Brokston, but first, he receives one last assignment to go in search of a young Mexican accused of raping and murdering a minor.
During his search, Corbett realizes that the young Mexican he is looking for is innocent and is being framed for political reasons.

Jonatan Corbett (Lee Van Cleef), Chet Miller (Angel del Pozo), one of the widow's ranchers (Antonio Molino Rojo), Jess (Benito Stefanelli), Rocky (Romano Puppo) and other supporting characters carry a Single Action Army as their main sidearms during the film.
The vast majority of the Single Action Armys seen in the film are Uberti replicas, but genuine models are also seen.

Jonatan Corbett gives the three outlaws a chance to defend themselves against him, but no one of them is as quick as he is to draw.

One of the Mexicans hired to hunt down Cuchillo is armed with a Single Action Army, but is not fast enough for Cuchillo and his knives (excuse the redundancy).
Colt 1851 Navy (Cartridge Conversion)
Hondo (Nello Pazzafini) and his two outlaws carry a Colt 1851 Navy (Cartridge Conversion) during their encounter with Jonatan Corbett (Lee Van Cleef). One of the widow's ranchers (Frank Braña) draws another cartridge conversion Colt 1851 after his Garate El Tigre runs out of ammo. One of the revolvers seen in Brokston's case is a Colt 1851 Navy (Cartridge Conversion) and Jonatan Corbett (Lee Van Cleef) arms himself with it briefly.

During weapons preparations prior to the mass search of Cuchillo (Tomás Milián), Brokston (Walter Barnes) briefly inspects a Smith & Wesson Model 320 Revolving Rifle without a stock. This is one of the few known appearances of the Smith & Wesson Model 320 revolving rifle in a media (not counting its appearance as a gun relic in Pawn Stars).
