Sing, Cowboy, Sing is a 1981 East German comedy Western movie directed by Dean Reed who also starred as a rodeo-rider and singer Joe who together with his companion Beny (Václav Neckár) travel across the Wild West with performances.

The following weapons were used in the film Sing, Cowboy, Sing:

Revolvers

Reichsrevolver M1879

A Reichsrevolver M1879 is a personal handgun of Joe (Dean Reed). M1879s are also used by the Sheriff of Lidwell (Vlad Radescu), one of Dave Arnold's henchmen (Miron Murea) and several townspersons of Rosecity and Liebenthal.

Note: see additional images on talk page.

Colt 1851 Navy Cartridge

One of the bandits, attacking Liebenthal, is armed with a Colt 1851 Navy revolver. It appears to be a cartridge versions, often seen in DEFA Western movies. The lack of the pin that fixes the barrel with the frame on original Colt 1851 allows to guess that this screen gun is a replica, originally made for metallic cartridges, likely of European production.

For comparison: Colt 1851 Navy with a cartridge conversion. This is a reproduction of the gun used by Eli Wallach in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly and imported by Cimmaron Arms.

Mockup Single Action Army

Revolvers in holsters of the Sheriff of Hiddenjunction (Helena Ruzickova) and her brother, the Deputy Sheriff (Jirí Ruzicka) resemble Single Action Army but more likely are painted wooden mockups.

Pistols

Em-Ge Model 320

Beny (Václav Neckár) carries a Derringer-style pocket pistol. It appears to be a German blank- and gas-firing pistol Em-Ge Model 320.

Rifles and Muskets

Winchester Model 1892 Carbine

In one scene Joe (Dean Reed) is seen with a Winchester Model 1892 carbine. This rifle has sling swivel below the magazine and lacks a saddle ring. Another Winchester Model 1892 that has a saddle ring is used by a townsman of Liebenthal.

What appears to be a single shot Schuetzen rifle of unclear model (or possibly but less likely a Single Barreled Shotgun) is used by a townsman of Liebenthal against the bandits.

Triple Barreled Shotgun/Rifle

One of townspersons of Liebenthal, Augusta Brown alias "Python" (Gertraud Last) uses a Drilling, three-barreled combination shotgun/rifle with exposed hammers, against attacking bandits. This gun seems to be the same prop, used in other DEFA movies, Osceola and Kit & Co..
