Handguns

Nambu Model 60

The Nambu Model 60 handgun is seen in the holsters of police officers in the game.

A police officer gives Kasuga a stern talking to for ringing in the new year on a park bench. The Nambu with its distinctive lanyard ring can be seen in the officer's holster.

Makarov PM clone

As has been the case for the past 11 years, this Makarov PM clone with an extended barrel has been a favourite of the Yakuza series' eponymous criminals. There appear to be both black and silver versions of this pistol in the game.

Baikal-442 - 9x17mm Browning/9x18mm Makarov/9x19mm. It is a Canadian market import model of the Makarov. It features an long barrel, not seen on the military Makarov pistol.

Kasuga's oyabun Arakawa, about to shoot him with the black Makarov.

Walther PPK

The leader of the Geomujil has a Walther PPK. This model has been taken from previous games, including what appears to be the de-cocking lever from the SIG-Sauer P230 acting as some kind of slide release.

Other

Airsoft Remington 700

The Remington 700 model from previous games (albeit without the laser sight) is reused in YLAD as an airsoft weapon during a substory.

Real 1970's production Remington Model 700 bolt-action rifle - .308 Winchester.
The "Sniper," determined to give an innocent persimmon fruit a piece of his mind.
The "Sniper Assailant" shows off his new toy to Kasuga, who is less than impressed...
...and decides to express his displeasure with his fists. "No-one messes with my persimmon!"

Crossbow

Members of the Geomujil use crossbows for the silent approach. This weapon type is also used by enemies in battle encounters.

Locked and loaded.
The bolt managed to find its target, in the form of one unfortunate individual's head.

"Hand Grenade"

Hand grenades are available as a "battle item," unsurprisingly dealing damage to the target and nearby enemies when used. This model is the same as has featured in previous games, and does not appear to be based directly on any real-life model.
