I'm not gonna give you my life story, but I might as well say something. I'm John, a 16 year old firearm and military fanatic from eastern Canada. I don't get my knowledge from video games, but rather from excessive reading on both the internet and through books and magazines, not to mention word of mouth. I'm a very knowledgeable guy when it comes to weapons, especially WWII and modern era, and I could talk for hours on many different wars. I'm also an avid gamer, rocking the Xbox Live most days of the week. you can find me on Live as CarlsonsRaiders, feel free to add me, but include a message saying your from IMFDB please. Along with guys like moviepropmaster, I believe this site should keep a high level of order and neatness, and we should try to do our best to show, describe and discuss the weapons of movies and video games in our world.

Cheers!

Favourite Guns

Browning Hi-Power - Old school 9mm with great looks, 13 rounds of 9mm at your disposal, plus Eddie Murphy used one, so he's alright.

TDI "Vector" - Revolutionary recoil system, not to mention it can handle the .45 with ease, and it doesn't look to bad either.

FN FAL - Wasn't designed for the 7.62, but with that round this rifle takes down damn near anything, just keep it off full auto.

Steyr AUG - Genesis, the first bullpup in military service. In 1977 it was a beast, and it still is today. Plastic fantastic indeed.

Sturmgewehr 44 - The first assault rifle in the world, and maybe Nazi Germany's one great achievement.

FAMAS F1 - High ROF, compact design. and good looks. Maybe not the best, but I like it.

Franchi SPAS-12 - Overused I know, but it looks tankish and it works well.

M14 - The US Army may have dropped it, but I think it's a superb rifle in the 7.62 class, nice wood stock as well.

M240 - The SAWs older brother, it took the 7.62 and did what the M60 couldn't, make it work in a GPMG.

Taurus PT92 - A Beretta 92 in drag I know, but with 2 more rounds in the mag and a lower price tag, I'm sold already.

IMI Uzi - The iconic SMG, it was compact yet effective, and it's wraparound bolt was an innovation copied many times over.

Walther WA2000 - A mantelpiece I know, but a .300 magnum hand built German rifle commands some respect, and it looks alright.

FN F2000 - It brought bullpups to left-handers (like myself) with it's revolutionary ejection system, plus it's an accurate little thing too.

Barrett M82A1 - Heavy, big, impractical and mostly useless, but for a one mile headshot that kills, it's almost unbeatable.

Cheytac Intervention M200 - Revolutionary round, revolutionary rifle, what more could you ask for then bolt action perfection?
