Cmdr. Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) carries a SIG-Sauer P226 as his sidearm (most likely due to his background as a Navy SEAL, which issues the P226).

P226 E2
For the first four episodes of the show, McGarrett carries the original German-made P226 with the mandrel-stamped slide, but in Episode 1.5, "Nalowale", he switches over to the new P226 E2 variant. Beginning in "Palekaiko" he begins carrying it with a SIG-Sauer brand light/laser. The laser can be seen at the beginning of "Ke Kinohi". It appears to be a SIG-Sauer STL-900L Tactical Light/Laser.

Heckler & Koch P30
In episode "Ke Kinohi", Danny 'Danno' Williams switches his sidearm from his SIG Pro to a Heckler & Koch P30. Also, as a result of a continuity error, the Heckler & Koch USP Compact used by Drago Zankovic (Peter Stormare) in Episode 1.2, "Ohana" magically becomes a newer Heckler & Koch P30 in a single close-up. It later goes back to a USP Compact when he's holding the gun in Kono's car.
