:Is there any way we can be sure that Walker's pistol is a Glock 23 and not a Glock 19? The G23 may be standard-issue for the FBI in real life, but this is a TV show, and we've already seen that the show's armorer seems to prefer using 9mm pistols even when it's not correct (i.e. the Secret Service Agents in the show all use 9mm P228s even though in real life they would be using .357 P229s). -[[User:MT2008|MT2008]]

Revision as of 05:52, 18 April 2009

The following guns were used in the television series 24

Note: It is an interesting detail that Walther firearms are seen being used by bad guys in every season of 24, and the only time Jack Bauer ever uses one (a stolen PPK) it jams on him. The killer Mandy, David Conlon, various henchmen, and several other baddies are all seen wielding Walthers. Interesting note. In the new season 7, David Emerson is seen using a SW99, basically a S&W clone of the Walther P99

Most of the first 6 seasons are not complete in screencapping you may skip down to Season 7 to see screencaps.

Season 4 is now a working progress and and will be screencapping through the end of May.

Season 1

SIG-Sauer P228/SIG-Sauer P229

Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) weapon of choice throughout Season 1 is the SIG-Sauer P228 with a nickel-plated slide. An interesting and well-known goof is that in several scenes, the gun changes from the SIG-Sauer P228 to a SIG-Sauer P229.

At 6:00A.M. - 7:00A.M. Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) shoots Nina Myers (Sarah Clarke) with his Sig Sauer P228 because he is being watched by Ira Gaines (Michael Massee) threatening to kill his family if he does not follow his orders. (But Ira Gaines (Michael Massee) did not know Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) put a flak jacket on Nina Myers (Sarah Clarke) back at CTU)
File:S1e12f1.jpg
Jack threatens to kill Kevin Carrol (Richard Burgi) with his Sig Sauer P228 if he does not take him to his kidnapped family during 11:00A.M. - 12:00P.M.
Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) threatens Rick Allen (Daniel Bess) with his (sound suppressed) Sig Sauer P228 because he thinks he kidnapped his family during 11:00A.M. - 12:00P.M.
Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) aims his gun at one of Ira Gaines (Michael Massee) but he gets a radio message and leaves during 12:00P.M. - 1:00P.M.
Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) dodges a bullet from Ira Gaines (Michael Massee) gun and leaves him no choice to shoot and kill him during 12:00P.M. - 1:00P.M.

Beretta M92FS

Richard Walsh (Michael O'Neill) uses a (sound suppressed) Beretta M92FS when he is taking fire from well trained assassins during 1:00A.M. - 2:00A.M. This gun is also used by Ira Gaines (Michael Massee) men about to execute the Bauer family during 7:00A.M. - 8:00A.M, and the LAPD officers also carry it.

The Bauers are threatened by Ira Gaines (Michael Massee) men with a Beretta M92FS during 7:00A.M. - 8:00A.M.

Remington 870

Seen in the police car 3:00 AM to 4:00 AM.

M16A2

Carried by at least one of Ira Gaine's henchmen.

AKM/Type 56

Slung over the shoulder of one of Ira Gaine's henchmen. I'm unsure if this was a AKM or a Type 56 and if the weapon was stockless or not.

M1911A1

"Dan's" weapon which Rick later gives to Kim Bauer, whom in turn uses it to kill Eli.

Uzi

Rick Allen (Daniel Bess) grabs a IMI Uzi 9mm during the rescue of Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) family during 11:00A.M. - 12:00P.M. Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) uses a IMI Uzi 9mm to set off a car explosion during 11:00A.M. - 12:00P.M.

Rick Allen (Daniel Bess) & Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) dive from an explosion with a IMI Uzi 9mm sitting next to them during 11:00A.M. - 12:00P.M.

Norinco NDM-86 (chambered in .308)

Ira Gaines (Michael Massee) hunts Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) through the woods at the compound with a Norinco NDM-86 chambered for .308. The Norinco NDM-86 is a clone of the Soviet Dragunov SVD manufactured in China. The squared off shape of the box magazine shows the chambering as being in .308 rather than the curved magazine for the rifle's original 7.62x54R cartridge.

Ira Gaines (Michael Massee) and Kevin Carrol (Richard Burgi) snipe and shoot the get away vehicle used by Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) during 11:00A.M. - 12:00P.M.

Unknown Rifle

Another agent shoots a suspect with a supressed rifle, because he is angry at Jack and knew Jack wanted suspect alive.

Heckler & Koch MP5A2

CTU tactical teams are all carrying Heckler & Koch MP5A2's during the rescue of Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) family during 12:00P.M. - 1:00P.M.

Alexis Drazen (Misha Collins) kills Kevin Carrol (Richard Burgi) with his Glock 17 9mm to tie up loose ends. Agent Ted Paulson (Kevin Ramsey) draws his Glock 17 9mm after knowing there's a security breach at the safe house during during 3:00P.M. - 4:00P.M.]]

Skorpion VZ.61

Heckler & Koch USP 9mm

Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) takes two Heckler & Koch USP 9mm's into the climactic gunfight with the Drazens during 11:00P.M. - 12:00A.M. and fires them akimbo for the majority of the fight, killing a Drazen henchman and Andre Drazen (Željko Ivanek) in this manner. After being wounded by Viktor Drazen (Dennis Hopper), Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) then kills him with his one remaining USP, emptying the magazine into his body. A common mistake is that when his is empty the slide stays locked in place and it clicks each time he pulls the trigger.

When Grant's buddies see the action, though, a gunfight ensues, and Bauer uses both the Beretta and his own revolver to eliminate them. Grant takes several rounds in the face from the Beretta.

It could have been a Heckler & Koch PSG-1 because of the straight smooth barrel but is very unlikely because of how rare this weapon is seen in movies, so I identified it as a Accuracy International AWP.

Colonel Iké Dubaku (Hakeem Kae-Kazim) used a M1911 in episode 7 & 8.

Rock Island Armory is a common 1911 manufacturer and makes several models with that grip, looks like it may be a RIA/Armscor.
It looks like a Kimber Warrior .45 as it is black and has the same color grips. It also makes sense since the Warrior is used by MARSOC a division of SOCOM.
