Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

Guardians of the Galaxy is the 2014 science fiction film adaptation of the Marvel Comics series. While no real world weapons were used, the film is still part of "Phase Two" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that includes Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Ant-Man and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

I Am Groot is an American web animated series of shorts, based on the Marvel Comics superhero character Groot. The series is the second animated series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series is produced by Marvel Studios and was released on Disney+. The first season was released on August 10, 2022. The second season was confirmed.

A race of small blue aliens, Grunds, use various laser weapons during the defense of their settlement from Groot in "The Little Guy" (S1E02).

The two aliens draw their rifles when they first meet Groot.

Immediately, double-barreled laser artillery comes out of the stone.

A squad of Grunds on jetpacks surrounds and shoots at the attacker.
