Agent Carter was the adventure television series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that followed the continuing exploits of SSR Agent Margaret "Peggy" Carter (Hayley Atwell), who was first introduced in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger and was also seen in her own Marvel One-Shot. The series premiered in the US on ABC in January of 2015 and aired 18 episodes until 2016.
