The film also is part of "Phase Two" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that includes Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. Rudd would return as Lang in 2016's Captain America: Civil War and then in the direct 2018 sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Handguns

Glock 17

The Glock 17 is featured prominently in the film as the pistol carried by police officers, security personnel, Darren Cross (Corey Stoll), Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) and several of Cross' henchmen. In one peculiar scene, ants are seen blocking what appears to be the external hammer of a Glock, despite the fact that the pistol doesn't actually have an external hammer. In a continuity error, Paxton (Bobby Cannavale) is seen with a Glock 17 before it being knocked out of his hands by the Yellow Jacket.

3rd Generation Glock 17 - 9x19mm. Note the finger grooves, thumb reliefs, and accessory rail on the frame, which differentiate it from the older model.
2nd Generation Glock 17 - 9x19mm. This model added finger stepping and cuts to the backstrap of the frame to make it easier to hold than the Generation 1 model.
