Bradley Cooper is an American actor well known for his roles as Phil Wenneck in all three films in The Hangover trilogy and as the late Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle in the 2014 film American Sniper. He also has appeared in such films as The A-Team, Limitless (2011), The Mule, and The Place Beyond the Pines. In addition, he has nominated for seven Academy Awards, including three straight acting nominations: for 2012's Silver Linings Playbook, 2013's American Hustle as well as 2014's American Sniper. In 2018, he gained acclaim for his directorial debut with the remake of the film A Star is Born.
