The following weapons were used in the anime film WXIII: Patlabor the Movie 3:
Revolvers
New Nambu Model 60
A Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department officer who accompanies Detectives Hata and Kusumi to a Babylon Project construction site in Tokyo Bay is armed with a New Nambu Model 60. He draw its against Wasted XIII, but never uses it.
Assault Rifles
Howa Type 89
Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) soldiers are armed with the Howa Type 89 as their main assault rifle during the operation to kill Wasted XIII. They are used by JGSDF soldiers when they confront Wasted XIII after being engaged previously by SV2 Ingrams.
Machine Guns
General Dynamics M197 Vulcan
JGSDF AL-97B Hannibals deployed in the joint JGSDF-JMSDF-TMPD operation to take out Wasted XIII are armed with M197 Vulcans in a chin mount as its main weapon.
M61 Vulcan
Various Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) destroyer ships are seen deployed with M61 Vulcan machine guns in a Phalanx configuration near Tokyo.
Yakushev-Borzov Yak-B
JGSDF Hellhound gunships are armed with scaled-up Yakushev-Borzov Yak-B machine guns in a chin mount near the end of the movie.
Rocket Launchers
IHI Aerospace 110 mm anti-tank weapon
A JGSDF squad is armed with the IHI Aerospace 110 mm anti-tank weapon, which is a licensed-made version of the Panzerfaust 3, to take out the disabled Ryujin on orders from Colonel Ishira near the end of the movie.
Flamethrowers
Type 1-1 Flamethrower
Type 1-1 Flamethrowers the Japanese copy of the US M2 Flamethrower are used by soldiers of the JGSDF's Chemical Weapons Division clad in NBC protective gear, which was used to dispose of the weakened Wasted XIII by scorching it alive in order to prevent its injuries from regenerating.
Labor Weapons
Revolver Cannon
The Type 98 "Ingram" labors used by the SVU are armed with massive 37mm revolver cannons based on the Colt Python as their sidearms. The weapon has the Colt logo on the grip replaced with the Chrysanthemum seal, which is the de-facto seal of the Japanese government and royal family, and is stored in a compartment in the labor's lower right leg when not in use. One drawback of the weapon is that the pilot has to exit the labor in order to manually reload it, spare rounds also being stored in the same leg compartment.
In the Wasted XIII movie, only Ota uses it since it's loaded with an anti-virus bullet as made by the JGSDF's Chemical Weapons Division. Unlike the ones seen in the 2 Patlabor movies, the Revolver Cannons appear to have six-inch barrels mounted on them, suggesting a possible upgrade over the earlier four-inch model.
