World of Assassination
The World of Assassination is a trilogy within the Hitman franchise, consisting of HITMAN, HITMAN 2 and HITMAN 3, as well as bonus missions which share the same maps as some campaign missions, time-limited elusive targets, and small, playful side-missions called escalations. It focuses on Agent 47 and Diana Burnwood and their careers working for the International Contract Agency. Diana plays a prominent role in the trilogy, and the series explores Burnwood's backstory in far more depth than previous installments of the series. In the course of fulfilling assassination contracts, Burnwood and 47 will conclude that the ICA has been manipulated into taking out targets on behalf of a mysterious third party. Eventually they will learn of and take on the secretive and powerful organization known as Providence. The trilogy also includes three stand-alone sniper missions unrelated to the main story.
Many of the features of previous games have returned, including the ability to hide in containers and instinct mode. New features include vastly expanded movement capabilities: Agent 47 is able to vault over some obstacles such as low walls, drop down from some higher elevations, climb pipes, walk on narrow ledges, and even hang, move and swing from ledges. This gives the player far more options for moving into secure areas. While standing on a ledge outside of a window, the player is able to aim a handgun into the window at certain angles. The player character can also hide in crowds or foliage. Longarms such as rifles can now be slung across the back to free up the player's hands for other tasks. Once sufficient points have been accumulated on a level, the player has the option of having additional weapons and equipment smuggled into the area, even into secure areas. Eventually, the player will be able to begin the mission already having infiltrated the area and already wearing a disguise. Notably absent is the ability to take human shields, which was available in the two previous iterations of the game. Numerous references to events and characters in previous installments are sprinkled throughout the trilogy's missions, as a treat for long-time fans of the series.
The trilogy has received intense criticism from fans for forcing players to connect to the Internet in order to access most of the core features (such as progression, gear, challenges, etc) despite the games being single-player, like the rest of the Hitman series. Some speculate that this measure is a type of always-online DRM designed by IO Interactive intended to deter piracy. Source :hitman.fandom.com

Pistols
All pistols share the same reload animation where Agent 47 tosses the old magazine to the right and loads in a new magazine with his left hand.
AMT Hardballer
The AMT Hardballer appear as the "ICA Silverballer". There are three versions of this gun in the game.
• "ICA Silverballer". The basic version of the gun. It has a black silencer. It also has a rubber grips. Standard 7-round magazine.
• "ICA Chrome". A variant with a Chrome suppressor and no rubber grips. Standard 7-round magazine.
• "Striker". Is a variant of the pistol with a compensator and different hammer, and is awarded by completing "The Dexter Discordance" Escalation Contract. Standard 7-round magazine.
Beretta Cougar
The Beretta Cougar appears as the "Bartoli 75S", featuring either an inox finish or a full black finish. The black version of the weapon is called "Bartoli 75R".
"Custom 5mm"
The "Custom 5mm" is an integrally-suppressed pocket pistol that holds 5 rounds. It cannot be reloaded in the field. While it seems conceptually based on the PSS Silent Pistol, it draws visual influence from a variety of modern subcompact handguns, somewhat resembling a substantially less curvaceous Taurus Curve, with some elements from the Heizer Defense DoubleTap as well, to name a few.
"HWK21"
The "HWK21" largely resembles the Heckler & Koch VP9, with the some design from Glock pistol series and the Heckler & Koch Mark 23. The base HWK21 does not feature a suppressor. The "HWK21 Covert" is a variant of the HWK21 with a suppressor, extended magazine, and a weapon finish.
"ICA19"
The "ICA19" is a fictional M1911-styled pistol based on the Kimber Custom TLE II with cocking serrations from the Springfield Armory Loaded 1911. The "ICA19 F/A" is a variant of the "ICA19", featuring an extended magazine and automatic fire. There is also a fully automatic pistol with a silencer. It's called "ICA19 F/A Stealth".
Ruger MK II
The "Krugermeier 2-2" is based on the suppressed Ruger Mk II.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5/10
The Heckler & Koch MP5/10 appear as the "HX-7".
Heckler & Koch UMP45
The "HX-10" is primarily based on the Heckler & Koch UMP45.
Magpul FMG-9
The "TAC-SMG" is primarily inspired by the Magpul FMG-9, featuring both a top and underbarrel rail and a rail-mounted foregrip. The upgraded "TAC-SMG" features a suppressor, while the "TAC-SMG Covert" is a variant of the "TAC-SMG" featuring a red dot sight, a suppressor, and a weapon finish.
Assault Rifles
M4A1
The M4A1 appears as the "Fusil G1-4" and "Fusil G2". It features a rail accessory system, and the grip and trigger guard from the IWI X95. The G2 doesn't have rail covers on its rails, while the G1-4 does.
The "Fusil G1-4/C" is a compact version of the "Fusil G1-4" rifle, lacking a stock and featuring a short barrel. It can be found during "A Gilded Cage" set in Morocco, where an elite soldier wields this weapon, and on the militia spec ops soldiers at the shooting range in Colorado during "Freedom Fighters".
"RS-15"
The "RS-15" is an AK-type assault rifle. It features a RIS, an underfolding stock, a red dot sight, and a suppressor. It has a largely straight magazine, meaning it visually somewhat resembles the AK-9.
"TAC-4 AR Auto"
The "TAC-4 AR Auto" is a fictional bullpup rifle somewhat based on the Magpul PDR. The "TAC-4 AR S/A" is a semi-auto variant of the rifle, featuring a retractable stock, different grip design, red dot sight, and suppressor.
Shotguns
Maverick Model 88
The Maverick Model 88 appears as the "Bartoli 12G", with, apparently, some references to the Benelli M3, such as furniture, magazine design, sights, and the name itself (although, simultaneously, it is pump-action only, and with Maverick's receiver). It features a pistol grip and no tang safety, unlike the genuine Mossberg 500 series shotgun. It comes in either synthetic or wood furniture. The black version of the weapon is called "Tactical Bartoli 12G". The standard version has 5 rounds, the tactical version has 6 rounds.
"Enram HV"
The "Enram HV" is a fictional automatic shotgun with design cues taken from the Kel-Tec KSG. The upgraded variant of the "Enram HV" adds a CZ Scoprion Evo 3 A1 stock and an open dot sight reminiscent of Tru-Glo sights.
Sniper Rifles
Barrett MRAD
The "Jaeger 7" bolt-action sniper rifle most closely resembles a Barrett MRAD. It is suppressed by default, though the "Jaeger 7 Lancer" variant features an unsuppressed extended barrel. The "Jaeger 7 Lancer" variant also features a different stock.
Walther WA 2000
The "Sieger 300" sniper rifle is based on Agent 47's iconic Walther WA 2000 sniper rifle. The weapon has two color variants. The standard with wooden elements is called "Sieger 300". The black weapon variant is called "Sieger 300 Ghost".
Others
Browning M2HB
The Browning M2HB appears on weapon stations mounted on armored vehicles in the Morocco level "A Gilded Cage".
Pedersoli Kentucky Flintlock Pistol
The Pedersoli produced replica of the Kentucky Flintlock pistol is seen on a rack in the Paris level "The Showstopper".
Springfield 1861 Percussion Musket
An antique gun gallery can be found in the Paris level "The Showstopper". Various Springfield 1861 percussion muskets can be seen as exhibits.
Hitman 2
Hitman 2 (stylized as HITMAN™ 2) is the second part of the trilogy. Hitman 2 is the direct sequel to Hitman, released on November 13, 2018. Hitman 2, considered the "second season" of Hitman, features 6 new missions, new weapons, and an updated graphical design. All missions and many weapons from the original Hitman are retained in Hitman 2.

"SHASHKA A33"
The "SHASHKA A33" is a fictional AK-pattern rifle inspired by the experimental Korobov TKB-072. It also has some Heckler & Koch G3 influence on the rear part of the receiver and rear sight protective wings from the CETME Model L. The handguard is based on the experimental 1973-1976 Popovich PPL.
Shashka is a type of sabre originating from the mountain tribes of the Caucasus which was also used later by the Russians and Cossacks.
