Alien: Covenant is the fifth standalone installment in the Alien film franchise. Ridley Scott returns to direct the 2017 science fiction feature, which is set around a decade after the events of the preceding film, 2012's Prometheus and follows the crew of the colonization spaceship Covenant, who land on mysterious planet and soon encounter a force that could threaten all their lives. Michael Fassbender reprises his role as David from Prometheus as well as portraying another android named Walter.

The following weapons were used in the film Alien: Covenant:

Handguns

Beretta 92FS Brigadier

Daniels (Katherine Waterston) is seen drawing and attempting to fire her Beretta 92FS Brigadier when she and her crew are preparing to evacuate. It can be assumed the Covenant crew also carry these pistols as their sidearm.

Beretta 92FS Brigadier Inox

Sarah "Rosie" Rosenthal (Tess Haubrich) carries a Beretta 92FS Brigadier Inox pistol with Hogue wrap-around grips, a tactical flashlight, and a black hammer and safety/decocker as her sidearm. She is seen loading her pistol when she goes to medically treat herself. Like with Daniels Beretta Brigadier, it can be assumed the Covenant crew also carry these pistols as their sidearm.

Rifles/Carbines

Thales F90 (RMC F903WE Automatic Assault Rifle)

Katherine Daniels (Katherine Waterston) and Covenant security forces Sarah "Rosie" Rosenthal (Tess Haubrich) and Ben Ledward (Ben Rigby) are seen with futuristic bullpup rifles, that are conventional to the later pulse based weapons, called the RMC F903WE Automatic Assault Rifle, featuring armor piercing capacities. Cole (Uli Latukefu) carries one of these rifles with a Thales SL40 underbarrel grenade launcher.

The rifles themselves are modified Thales F90s rifles with Trijicon TA31 ACOG scopes, folding foregrips, laser sights, an extra sling swivel and fitted with a MLOK style railed handguard ahead of the receiver which shrouds the exposed portion of the barrel, all which were 3-D printed and made out of aluminium for production by lead armorer John Bowring and his team, who apparently at the time were discussing and creating these handguards ahead of Lithgow who had the idea on the drawing board when supplying the rifles for the movie.

The Firearm Blog reported that the F90s are actually Lithgow ATRAX models, a version of the Thales F90 available for the United States.

Futuristic AR-15 carbine(s)

Sergeants Dan Lopé (Demián Bichir) and Tom Hallet (Nathaniel Dean) are armed with futuristically modified AR-15 carbines, most common next to the 'RMC F903WE Automatic Assault Rifles'. Lopé's rifle has a ELCAN SpectreDR optic while Hallet's has a EOTech 552 holographic sight, however both rifles feature a grey monolithic Geissele style handguards, G&P Rubber textured foregrips, railed gas blocks with exposed heavy barrel (externally looking like the Heckler & Koch HK416), extended charging handles and CAA buttstocks. Executive Officer then later Captain Chris Oram (Billy Crudup) wields Hallet's AR to shoot the Neomorph and then threaten David (Michael Fassbender) with it, demanding answers.

A unique version wielded by Pvt. Ankor (Alexander England) and eventually commandeered by Daniels (Katherine Waterston) is equipped with a EOTech 552 holographic sight, almost monolithic chrome MLOK style handguard which covers the entire barrel except for the flash hider that also features a retractable bayonet (that isnt used in film but seen in the behind the scenes), flashlight, laser sight and buttstock similar to the CAA Advanced Sniper Stock.

Also note the Colonial Marine shoulder lamps-style GoPro mounts.

Shotguns

Remington 870 (Customised)

Maggie Faris (Amy Seimetz) uses the shortened and customised Remington 870 shotgun fitted with a pistol grip, flip up iron sights, Aimtec Warhammer top reciever picatinny rail system with heatshield, shell saddle, dual picatinny rails mounted near the barrel, FAB Defense pump forend that have a laser sight, accessory clamps for a flashlight, chrome tube magazine cap and FAB Defense pistol grip buffer tube stock with a LE 6 position buttstock. The Lander One drop shuttle's weapons locker contains two of these shotguns which Maggie picks the first one up only to lose it after firing then grabs the second one in a botched attempt to kill the Neomorph that hatches from Ledward (Ben Rigby). Near the end of the film, Tennessee Faris (Danny McBride) wields an identical Remington shotgun when dealing with the Praetomorph.

Grenade Launchers

Thales SL40

Security officer Cole (Uli Latukefu) carries a Thales SL40 underbarrel grenade launcher under his 'RMC F903WE Automatic Assault Rifle', though it is not seen used.

Unknown Launcher

David (Michael Fassbender) is seen firing a flare from a unidentified launcher to scare away the Neonorph attacking Rosenthal and the Covenant crew. He later places it on a table with a spare (or spent) shell round.
