Daniel Richard McBride, known professionally as Danny McBride, is an American actor, comic, writer, and producer. He is best known for his roles in action-comedy films such as Pineapple Express, Tropic Thunder, Land of the Lost, and This Is the End, as well as more serious roles such as Tennessee in Alien: Covenant. In addition, he has written and produced the three films in the Halloween reboot trilogy that began with Halloween (2018). He currently also stars in the HBO television series The Righteous Gemstones.
