The Magnificent Seven is the 2016 feature film remake of the classic 1960 Western of the same name that was in turn based upon Akira Kurosawa's classic samurai film Seven Samurai. Denzel Washington stars in the remake as Sam Chisolm, a bounty hunter who at the end of the American Civil War, teams up with a band of misfit outlaws to save a mining town from a ruthless tycoon. The film's cast includes Chris Pratt, Vincent D'Onofrio, Ethan Hawke, Lee Byung-hun, Haley Bennett, and Peter Sarsgaard. The remake was directed by Antoine Fuqua, marking his third of five collaborations with Washington as well as reuniting the actor with his Training Day co-star Hawke. The film was released to theaters in September of 2016.

The following weapons were used in the film The Magnificent Seven:

Handguns

Single Action Army

Single Action Army 'Quick-Draw' (4.75" barrel)

Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington) carries a nickel-plated 'Quick-Draw' model of the Single Action Army revolver as his main weapon. Most notable, carrying it in a "cavalry twist draw" holster.

Single Action Army Artillery Model (5.5" barrel)

The Artillery model of the Single Action Army revolver is also used by several other characters, including many members of The Magnificent Seven. Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) carries a pair of nickel-plated Artillery model Single Action Army revolvers with pearl grips and is seen dual-wielding them. Josh Faraday (Chris Pratt) carries a pair of Artillery model Single Action Army revolvers, but one has ivory grips and the other has wooden grips, and he is most notably seen carrying them in a straight-draw and cross-draw holster. Then during the final battle, Faraday is also seen carrying another Artillery model Single Action Army revolver in a shoulder holster, but never uses it. Billy Rocks (Lee Byung-hun) and Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard) both carry the Artillery model revolver, theirs being the standard blued with wooden grips.
