Galactica 1980
Galactica 1980 was the continuation of the original 1978 ABC science fiction series Battlestar Galactica. The series was set thirty years following the events of the original series, as the Galactica and the ragtag fleet finally find Earth. While Lorne Greene returned as Commander Adama, most of the original series cast members did not return for this series. Unlike the original series (which did not feature any real world firearms), some firearms were seen in the hands of military personnel as well as civilian law enforcement. The series aired for one season in 1980 and was released into television syndication billed as the second season of Battlestar Galactica.
The following weapons were used in the television series Galactica 1980:
K98 Rifle
Most of the German soldiers are equipped with Mauser K98 Rifle in "Galactica Discovers Earth (aka Galactica: 1980), Part II" (S1E02). Troy (Kent McCord) holds the rifle when disguised as a German soldier.

MP40
When the Galacticans travel back to World War II Germany, MP40s are carried by German forces in "Galactica Discovers Earth (aka Galactica: 1980), Part II" (S1E02). Dillon (Barry Van Dyke) carries the MP40 while disguised as a German soldier.

Beretta M1934
Major Stockwell (Christopher Stone), the downed American saboteur, holds a Beretta M1934 in "Galactica Discovers Earth (aka Galactica: 1980), Part II" (S1E02).
