Prometheus is a 2012 science fiction film set in the same universe as in the 1979 film Alien.The film was helmed by original Alien director Ridley Scott and stars Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, and Idris Elba. The plot revolves around the crew of the spaceship Prometheus making a discovery of an alien artifact that could explain the creation of the human race, but could also result in its extinction. Unlike the original 1979 film, there are some working firearms used. Michael Fassbender and Ridley Scott would continue the Alien franchise with 2017 sequel Alien: Covenant.

Modified Benelli M3T Super 90

A modified Benelli M3T Super 90 is used by a security officer inside the alien dome/mountain. The weapon's folding stock has been colored orange and the shotgun has a blue muzzle flash when fired. Walther GSP Expert

Walther GSP Expert pistols (likely in .32 S&W Long) are used by the crew members of the Prometheus. The .32 model is generally identified by the longer magazine and larger charging handle. Like the M3T Super 90, the Walther GSPs feature blue muzzle flashes.

Custom Flamethrower

Much like the crew of the Nostromo in the original Alien, the crew of the Prometheus also have custom-made flamethrowers at their disposal. Meredith Vickers (Charlize Theron) uses a flamethrower to kill Charlie Holloway (Logan Marshall-Green), and Captain Janek (Idris Elba) also uses one later in the film to incinerate Fifield (Sean Harris).
