Johnny Handsome (1989)


Beretta 92F

In preparation for the shipyard heist. John Sedley (Mickey Rourke) purchases a Beretta 92F and Glock 17 from a gun dealer. Larry (J.W. Smith) is also seen with what appears to be one towards the end of the film.

Beretta 92F - 9x19mm. The cosmetic differences are very slight and hard to see. Most of the changes are the inner workings of the gun.

Beretta Model 70

A Beretta Model 70 is used by Sunny Boyd (Ellen Barkin) throughout most of the film. Notably during the Prestige job and the shipyard heist.

Colt MK IV Series 70

Rafe Garrett (Lance Henriksen) uses a Colt MK IV Series 70 throughout most of the film. It's noted as a Colt MK IV Series 70 by closeup of the slide when Rafe and Sunny gun down Bob Lemoyne (Allan Graf).

Glock 17

Johnny purchases a Glock 17 in addition to the Beretta 92F. He uses it at the end of the film in the cemetery. This is one of the earliest usages for the Glock pistol in a film.

Smith & Wesson Model 66

Bob Lemoyne (Allan Graf) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 66 during the Prestige job.

Double Barreled Shotgun

Larry (J.W. Smith) uses a 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun during the cemetery hand off.

Winchester 1200

Winchester Model 1200 Police Model - 12 gauge. The precursor to the Model 1300 however it is an all metal shotgun with a deep blued finish. It was developed in 1964 and ended production when the U.S. Repeating Arms Company acquired Winchester from Olin in 1980. The 1200 eventually ceased all production in 1981 and ceded the pump shotgun like to the Model 1300.
