- General George Deckert (Willem Dafoe)'s men and Ice Cube as Darius Stone in XXX 2: State of the Union (actually visually modified Heckler & Koch G36Ks fitted with M203 grenade launchers)
- Soldiers in Children of Men (most likely also visually modified G36Ks)
Video Games
- Battlefield: Bad Company (With no scope and fitted with M320 grenade launcher, the Carbine variant with silencer attached and the SAW variant)
- Crysis and Crysis Warhead (as the "SCAR")
- ArmA II (available in Carbine, Compact, Marksman and SAW versions)
