True History of the Kelly Gang is a 2019 Australian co-production historical crime drama about notorious bushranger Ned Kelly and his gang that acted in the colony of Victoria, Australia during the 1870s. The film is directed by Justin Kurzel and based upon the same title novel by Peter Carey. It stars George MacKay as Ned Kelly, Essie Davis as Ned's mother Ellen, Nicholas Hoult as Constable Fitzpatrick, and Russell Crowe as bushranger Harry Power who was Ned's mentor. It's worth noting that despite being entitled "True History...", the film is actually a highly fictionalized depiction of Kelly's life, with some scenes shot in nearly surrealistic manner.
Note: the height of the image gradually shrinks throughout the film by adding black bars on top and bottom, symbolising the narrowing view through the visor of Kelly's signature helmet. As the bars are cropped on the presented screenshots, their height radically differ - not an error but a result of creative idea of the filmmakers.
The following weapons were used in the film True History of the Kelly Gang:
Revolvers
Colt Walker Heritage Commemorative
Constable Fitzpatrick (Nicholas Hoult) carries a Colt Walker revolver throughout the movie. This is a Heritage Commemorative reproduction with gold banner on the left side and Samuel Walker's and Samuel Colt's images on the right side. Like the original 1847 Walker, this is a cap and ball gun.

Ned Kelly (
George MacKay) wounds Fitzpatrick in hand and picks up the revolver.
Ned hands the gun back to Fitzpatrick. The images of Walker and Colt are seen on the frame of the revolver.

Fitzpatrick mercilessly threatens his wife Kate who is Ned's sister.

Colt 1851 Navy
In several scenes Ned Kelly (George MacKay) is armed with a Colt 1851 Navy revolver. His revolver matches the "London" model with iron components. Colt 1851 Navy revolvers are also seen in hands of gang member Steve Hart (Louis Hewison) and a stagecoach driver (Gavin Robson).
Colt 1851 Navy London Model - .36 caliber. The "London" model uses iron instead of brass components for the back strap and trigger guard.

Colt 1851 Navy Sheriff's
Short-barreled Colt 1851 Navy Sheriff's Model revolver is used by Ned's young brother Dan (Earl Cave). The revolver has a lanyard ring that would be correct for British service military and police handguns.

Colt 1851 Navy (Richards-Mason Conversion)
Another revolver, used by Dan Kelly (Earl Cave), is a Colt 1851 Navy (Richards-Mason Conversion). Two props with different barrel length (probably 5.5" and 4 3/4") are used, switching from one to another due to a continuity error. Very likely these revolvers are modern replicas.

Colt 1860 Army
A Colt 1860 Army revolver is used by Harry Power (Russell Crowe). What appears to be the "inspector cartouche" (military inspection mark) can be seen on the grip, so this revolver is most likely an original Colt gun, not a modern replica.

Colt 1861 Navy (Cartridge Conversion) Compact Model
During the final shootout, Joe Byrne (Sean Keenan), one of the gang members, fires a compact version of Colt 1861 Navy with cartridge conversion. While the revolver is generally similar to cartridge 1860 Army, the size and shape of the cylinder allows to identify it as 1861 Navy.

Adams or Beaumont-Adams Revolver
A revolver is seen in Sgt. O'Neil's (Charlie Hunnam) holster. It is fitted with a lanyard. Adams or Beaumont-Adams is a possible guess.

Rifles
Remington 1858 "Cattleman's Carbine"
During the final shootout, Ned uses a Remington 1858 "Cattleman's Carbine". In reality he used a Colt Revolving Carbine.

Martini-Henry Rifle
Martini-Henry Rifles, most likely Mk I or Mk II, are widely used by the gang members and by police constables. During the final shootout, Martini-Henry rifles are seen in hands of Ned (George MacKay) and Dan (Earl Cave).

SMLE rifles are seen in hands of constables at the left and in center.
Unidentified percussion cap rifle
One of the guns, seen in hands of Ned Kelly during the final shootout, is a long percussion cap rifle. It has a hunting or sporter type short handguard. Possibly this gun is a converted military Enfield 1853 or Snider-Enfield. In reality a long-barreled Snider-Enfield with sawn-off handguard and buttstock was one of Ned Kelly's favorite weapons.

Shotguns

Trivia
Blueprints of USS Monitor, one of the first ironclad ships, are seen on the wall in Fitzpatrick's house. They include its 11-inch Dahlgren guns.
In Ned's dreams, he sails on
Monitor to free his mother from a Melbourne prison. This image only marginally corresponds the real ship.
