The Fate of the Furious (aka Fast & Furious 8) is the eighth installment in the Fast and the Furious film franchise. The 2017 sequel finds Dom (Vin Diesel) betraying his team and appearing to return to a life of crime while under the influence of a mysterious woman known as Cipher (Charlize Theron). The film was directed by F. Gary Gray, who is reunited with some of his cast from The Italian Job (Jason Statham and Theron) in addition to Diesel (A Man Apart). New cast members to the series include Helen Mirren and Scott Eastwood.
