Man on Fire is a 1987 Italian-French action thriller starring Scott Glenn as Christopher Creasy, a burnt-out former CIA operative turned bodyguard of twelve-years-old Italian girl Samantha Balletto, daughter of a wealthy businessman. After some time they become close friends. Then Samantha is kidnapped, and Creasy got a severe wound. Despite weakness, Creasy is determined to get Samantha back at all costs.
The film is based on the 1980 novel of the same name written by A. J. Quinnell. A second feature film adaptation of the novel directed by Tony Scott and starring Denzel Washington as Creasy was released in 2004.
The following weapons were used in the film Man on Fire (1987):
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 10 Snub Nose
A Smith & Wesson Model 10 Snub Nose revolver is used by a kidnapper. Same looking revolver is seen in hands of another kidnapper, Violente (Lou Castel), in the scene in Sandri's hideout.
Colt Detective Special 3rd Gen.
A Colt Detective Special 3rd Gen. revolver is seen in the gun box. David (Joe Pesci) keeps it for himself. In the final scene a young criminal (Henri-Charles Alexandre) uses same looking revolver.
Smith & Wesson Model 66 Snub Nose
What appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 66 Snub Nose is used by Conti (Danny Aiello).
Pistols
Benelli B76
During the kidnapping one of the criminals is armed with a Benelli B76 pistol. A Benelli B76 is one of the handguns, used by Creasy (Scott Glenn) in his crusade.
Beretta M1934
A Beretta M1934 is Creasy's (Scott Glenn) backup gun. In the final scene a police detective holds a Beretta M1934.
Beretta 92SB
Creasy (Scott Glenn) uses mainly a Beretta 92SB while attempting to resque Samantha.
Beretta 80 Series
What appears to be a Beretta 80 Series pistol, is also seen in gun box. It's hard to identify the exact model though Beretta 85 seems to be a possible guess.
Beretta Model 70
Violente (Lou Castel), one of the kidnappers, uses a Beretta Model 70.
Beretta M1951
Snake (Giuseppe Cederna), another kidnapper, uses a Beretta M1951 in several scenes.
Luger P08
What appears to be a Luger P08 is seen in hands of Conti's henchman.
Unidentified pistol 1
When Creasy perfors his bodyguard duties, he carries a pistol that is seen only partially. A pistol with same looking grips is seen on Creasy's table when he readies for hunt for kidnappers.
Unidentified pistol 2
An unidentified pistol is seen in the gun box. It isn't used in action.
Submachine Guns
Beretta M12
Beretta M12 SMGs are used by Italian police.
Sten Mk II
A Sten Mk II is seen in Sandri's hideout.
MP40
An MP40 is seen in Sandri's hideout.
Thompson M1928A1
An M1928A1 Thompson (or possibly M1921) with 50-round drum magazine and removed buttstock is seen in Sandri's hideout.
Unidentified SMG(?) 1
In the flashback scene in Beirut one of the combatants holds an unidentified weapon, possibly a submachine gun.

Assault Rifles
Adler-Jäger AP-74
In the flashback scene in Beirut one of the combatants holds some version of M16. Several M16s of nondescript model are seen in Sandri's hideout. Three-prong flash hiders and the fact that the movie was filmed in Italy allows to guess that M16s are Italian produced .22 caliber Adler-Jäger AP-74s.
Adler-Jäger AP-74/I
A subcompact M16-style carbine with folding stock and wooden furniture is seen in Sandri's hideout. It appears to be an Adler-Jäger AP-74/I, version of Adler-Jäger AP-74.
Adler-Jäger AP-80
In the flashback scene in Beirut one of the combatants holds some version of AK. Its slim magazine allows to guess that the AK could be a Adler-Jäger AP-80, Italian blank firing AK replica.
Other Weapons
M9 "Bazooka"
An M9 "Bazooka" is seen in Sandri's hideout.
