Glorious Missions (Chinese title: Guāngróng shǐmìng/光荣使命) is a 2012 Chinese first-person shooter video game. This game was developed by Giant Interactive Group and Iron Horse Studio at the behest of the PLA Nanjing Military Region. This game was developed for public relations and military education for the People's Liberation Army.
Glorious Missions is available in two different versions: The "Civilian" or public version is available on the PC and can be played online. This version can be played for free, but requires a Chinese identification number for creating an account. The other is the "Military" version. It is has an eight-player cooperative campaign and supports network matches. This version is supplied as a PLA training tool, and requires purchasing an activation code to use.

Many of the PLA characters use Norinco QSZ-92 as their sidearm. Appears in both versions.

Mauser C96
In the Civilian online version, the Mauser C96 appears as a usable weapon, named simply "C96". It is the secondary weapon for National Revolutionary Army 29th Route Army officers in the Marco Polo Bridge Incident co-op campaign "Lugou Yell (Chinese title: Lúgōu shīhǒu/卢沟狮吼)", added in September 3, 2015 on the 70th anniversary of V-J day.
Nambu Type 14
In the Civilian online version, the co-op campaign "A Dream Return To Shanghai (Chinese title: Meng hui shanghai/梦回上海)" set in WWII-era Shanghai features IJA soldiers armed with Nambu Type 14s as a secondary weapon. It is also used by the terrorists (referred to as "Rioters" in-game) who are (for some reason) armed with WWII-era Japanese firearms in the Subway Station co-op missions titled "Fighting against Terrorism and Violence (Chinese title: fan kong fang bao/反恐防暴)".

SIG-Sauer P226R
The SIG-Sauer P226 appears in the Civilian online version only, as a secondary of JSDF units (a standard issue pistol of the real-life JSDF) in Training Mode, Senkaku Island co-op mode, and Time Attack survival mode, and the terrorists from the Subway Station co-op missions, who are armed with JSDF and IJA firearms.

The Norinco QBZ-95 appears in the game, mainly used by PLA Soldiers. In the military version, due to some kind of bug or glitch, one OPFOR soldier is seen carrying a QBZ-95. Appears in both versions.

The QBZ-95B appears in the Civilian online version and is unlocked at level 42.
QBZ-03
The QBZ-03 is also used by some PLA troops in-game. Appears in both versions.
M16A4
The M16A4 appears as "AR-15 Assault Rifle". It's the basic rifle of the opposing forces. Appears in both versions.
AK-103
The AK-103 incorrectly appears as "AK74M Assault Rifle".

The AKM appears in the Civilian online version only. It is unlocked at level 17.
AKS-74U

The Heckler & Koch G36C appears in the game as "G36C" and is unlocked at level 24
Heckler & Koch M27 IAR
The Heckler & Koch M27 IAR appears in the game as "M27". It is the last assault rifle obtained, unlocked at level 56.
Howa Type 89
The Howa Type 89 appears in the Civilian online version only. A version without the integral bipod appears as the main weapon of JSDF units in Training Mode, Senkaku Island co-op mode, and Time Attack survival mode. It is also used by terrorists in the Subway Station co-op missions.
Arisaka Type 38
In the Civilian online version, Imperial Japanese Army infantry Banzai chargers in the WWII-era Shanghai co-op missions are armed with an Arisaka Type 38 with a bayonet. It is also the standard rifle of Japanese infantry in the Marco Polo Bridge Incident co-op missions. It is also used by terrorists in the Subway Station co-op missions.
Karabiner 98k
The Karabiner 98k appears as "K98K" and only appears in the Civilian version. It is one of player's purchasable weapons and also the main weapon of co-op mode enemy soldiers, terrorists in Subway Station, and Imperial Japanese Army Infantry in WWII-era Shanghai. Its use by the IJA is not inaccurate because the Kar98k was actually used by Imperial Japanese Army in China, imported from Germany (the Czech Vz. 24 was used too) or manufactured by factories in Manchukuo.

The Heckler & Koch MP5A4 appears in Senkaku Islands (or Diaoyu Islands) co-op mode and Subway Station co-op in the Civilian online version. It is the main weapon of the JMSDF Special Boarding Unit (they appear in single play training too) and terrorists.
Heckler & Koch MP7A1
The Heckler & Koch MP7A1 appears in the game as "MP7" and is unlocked at level 25).
TDI Vector
Only available in the Civilian online version, the TDI Vector appears as the "Kriss".
Colt M1921 Thompson
In the Civilian online version, the M1921 Thompson appears as the "Chicago Typewriter".
M1A1 Thompson
In Civilian online version, the M1A1 Thompson appears as the "Thompson SMG". It is one of the last SMGs obtained, at level 52.
MP 40
The MP 40 appears in the Civilian online version. It is the highest level SMG in the game (Requires Level 60).
Type 82
In the Civilian online version, the Type 82 submachine gun appears as the "Type 82".
Type 100
The Type 100 submachine gun appears in WWII-era Shanghai co-op mode and Subway Station co-op mode in the Civilian online version. It is the weapon of Imperial Japanese Army officers and terrorists in the final round.

The QJB-95 is used by PLA soldiers as a support weapon, with a 75-round drum magazine or 30-round box magazine.
M249 SAW
The M249 can found in the game with a 100-round drum magazine. It is also the weapon of modern era co-op heavy gunners and terrorists in the final round of Subway Station co-op.

In the Civilian online version, a light machine gun variant of the Type 81 with a drum magazine appears as the "Type 81 Squad Automatic Weapon".

The Norinco QJY-88 appears in-game. In the military version, it only appears in the final mission.
Type 11
The Type 11 light machine gun appears in WWII era Shanghai Co-op mode in the Civilian Online Version. It is the weapon of Imperial Japanese Army Heavy Gunner. In later missions in the Marco Polo Bridge Incident co-op, it is equipped by many Imperial Japanese Army soldiers (including heavy gunner and High rank officers) instead the Arisaka Type 38.
