The X-Files is a 6 episode limited event series that is set 13 years after the conclusion of events of the original television series. The continuation is helmed by original creator Chris Carter and exhibits both standalone 'Monster of the Week'-style stories as well as episodes touching on the previous overarching alien conspiracy mythology. As with the first five seasons of the original show as well as the second film, the six-episode event was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi, Annabeth Gish and William B. Davis as well as 'The Lone Gunmen' (Bruce Harwood, Dean Haglund and Tom Braidwood) all return for the miniseries, which will also feature several newcomers, including Joel McHale, Annet Mahendru, Lauren Ambrose and Robbie Amell. The event miniseries premiered in the US on FOX in January of 2016. Note: This limited series is officially listed as 'Season 10' as of the airing of the second episode.

A suspect that Mulder and Scully follow into a building pulls what appears to be a SIG-Sauer P220, before being disarmed by Scully in "Home Again" (S10E04).
American Tactical Imports FS9 Sport
In the season finale "My Struggle II" (S10E06), an unnamed operative sent by the "Cigarette-Smoking Man" is seen pulling an American Tactical Imports FS9 Sport - a US import only variant of the TiSAS Zigana Sport - on Mulder. Mulder swiftly disarms him of it.

Joseph Cutler (Alessandro Juliani) is seen pulling what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 640 at the beginning of "Home Again" (S10E04).
