Arena Breakout: Infinite, Chinese: 暗区突围:无限; pinyin: Àn Qū Túwéi: Wúxiàn lit. "Dark Zone Breakout: Infinite") is a PC port of the Escape from Tarkov inspired extraction shooter mobile game Arena Breakout (暗区突围). The mobile game for iOS and Android was originally released on July 13, 2022 in Mainland China (with playable tests in 2021) and July 14, 2023 globally while the PC testing was on August 13 and release in November of 2024. The game runs on Unreal Engine 4.

In a fictional world not dissimilar from our own on an archipelago, the Republic of Kamona has been torn apart by the "North-South Succession" civil war.

Overview

Fire selectors are fully animated. When loading from new magazines, the empty model is used instead of new model. In addition, primers are unstruck on the majority of spent cases. Since the full magazine model exists for weapon inspecting, it is likely an oversight. Several weapons share nearly identical animations to weapons in Escape From Tarkov. It is unknown if they are placeholders. Every AK-pattern rifle is fitted with a ZenitCo RP-1 enlarged charging handle by default. Due to the nature of being in an alternate reality, most weapons are manufactured by fictional companies. Said companies are merged leading to guns manufactured by different conpanies being produced by just one, with there likely being reasoning that the origin countries being of eastern or weastern descent determining which company produces what (as with gear). One of the most prominent ones, which also manufacturers accessories is "Flemington Arms Company" while another is "Gorod".

Similar to other contemporary titles such as more recent Call of Duty entries, new content and weapons are added every season, with the Mainland mobile version having 11 Seasons thus far. The Global version and Infinite version had different seasons and timelines when each weapon was added, which will be noted in their entries below.

Season 2 "IGNITION" is set to be released on April 29, 2025 and will add the AK-12, SIG-Sauer MCX, "SVTU", M45 / MEU(SOC), Glock 17 and FN Five-seveN.

The original timeline where the weapons were added in the Mainland mobile game are listed below:

  • Base Game has the Beretta M9A3, CZ 52, Desert Eagle Mark XIX, Glock 18C, M1911A1, Type 54, ZLS-05, AR-57, M3A1 Grease Gun, MAC-10, Heckler & Koch MP5 series, MP40, the fictional "MPF45", SIG-Sauer MPX, FN P90 Tactical, the fictional "QC61", Ruger MP9, Type 85 submachine gun, Heckler & Koch UMP-45, IWI UZI, KRISS Vector (.45), Remington 870, Baikal MP-133, Saiga 12K, AK-74N, AKS-74U, AK-102, AKM, FN F2000, FN FAL, Heckler & Koch HK416, M1A SOCOM 16, M4A1, M96 Expeditionary Rifle, M110 K2 (or K3), Desert Tech MDR, Ruger Mini-14, Simonov SKS, SVDS VSS Vintorez, Mosin-Nagant, Mk 2 grenade, M69 grenade, GHO-1 grenade, GLI-F4 tear gas grenade, M18 smoke grenade, M84 stun grenade, Zarya-2 stun grenade and Molotov cocktails.

  • Season 3 "Black Gate" (黑门) added the "M300", a fictional revolver chambered in 7.62x54R (and seemingly based on the Taurus Raging Judge and Smith & Wesson Model 500 among others), Suomi KP/-31, Standard Manufacturing DP-12, FAMAS F1 (with airsoft extended handguard/barrel shroud inspired by the ones manufactured by Cybergun and Double Eagle) and the OTs-14-4A-02 Groza (with the barrel option of the OTs-14-4A-01).
  • Season 4 "Dawn Strife" / "Dawn of War" (破晓纷争) added the PP-19 Bizon-2, CS/LS5, FN SCAR-L, QBZ-91-1, and QBZ-03.
  • Season 5 "Underground Law" (地下法则) added the SIG SG 550, Heckler & Koch G3A3 and the "K-58 stun grenade", which appears to be based on the Teren-7M.
  • Season 6 "Rages and Chaos" / "Chaos Rush" (混乱狂飙) doesn't appear to have added any new weapons.
  • Season 7 "Fuse" (导火索) added SIG-Sauer MCX Rattler and the 2013 AK-12 prototype (with elements of the 2015 prototype and 2018 production version) alongside a collaboration with Girl's Frontline.

  • Season 9 "Abyss Walker" (深渊行者) added the ST Kinetics CPW and Heckler & Koch MP5K.

A fictional threaded muzzle attachment can be fitted over the barrel. This was likely based on airsoft designs as the real MP5 has dedicated threaded barrels and no attachment like this. The mobile version is based on the MP5A4, with its possible modifications being the MP5A5, MP5SD4, MP5SD5 and MP5SD6.

KRISS Vector

The KRISS Vector appears as "Vector 45" (in FDE) for the .45 ACP chambered one and "Vector 9mm" (in ODG) for the 9x19mm one. The design takes cues mostly from the late model Gen 1, but with various elements from the Gen 2 Vector, most notably the grip ribbing on the curved section of front and the design of the bottom of the magazine well. It lacks pistol grip ribbing similar to the prototype TDI Vector. The 9mm version has a fictionalized version of the receiver plate window. It can be modified to resemble both the SDP and CRB Vector, with an extended barrel and Osprey suppressor-style shroud being available for it.

"MPF 45"

The "MPF 45" is a fictional SMG likely based on the Walther MPL and MAS-48. It is perhaps one of the main weapons used by the former Kamonan government as it is commonly seen in the hands of militants. On mobile it is stated to be manufactured by "Helka", the same manufacturer standing in for Heckler und Koch. By default it feeds from 20-round magazines.

Outfitted with a "tactical" upper. It doesn't resemble anything distinct, but has some elements of the Beretta PMX. Note the SIG-Sauer-style Folding Visor Stock.

"QC61"

The "QC61" is a fictional SMG likely based on the Type 79, Shpagin PPSh-41 with minor elements from the PPS-43 such as the pistol grip, magazine well and lightning hole in the magazine well. It has an AK-style selector and the top cover is much more ribbed than the Type 79's. The name seems similar to Chinese naming conventions for submachine guns, however the full name is unknown. By default it feeds from 20-round magazines. It has an unusable AK-style dovetail on the side.

Note that the front of the upper receiver is disproportionate, and the diagonal vents make it look like it has a 6.5" barrel, when in fact it's somewhere between 6.5" and 8". Also note the Gen 1 bolt with cutout on opposite side.

The Express Tactical muzzle brake is available for all barrels. The alternate barrels are the 870 Express Field Gun's and a chopped version of the Field Gun barrel. It can be fitted with a FAB Defense PR-870 Forend Rail System, FAB Defense AGR-870 Pistol Grip, Mesa Tactical LEO Gen 1 Telescoping Stock Kit For Rem 870, and Magpul MAG460 SGA Stock. AK-74N

The AK-74N appears under its real name. Standard AK-74 wood furniture is not available, so the rifle has an AK polymer handguard by default instead (it also uses the AKM dust cover). For some reason it is able to use the prototype 7.62x39mm 100-round magazine, which hooks over the AKM's muzzle brake (and strangely cannot be used by the AKM). In this case the AK-74's muzzle brake would prevent that, but in-game the character simply performs a normal reload, with the bottom of the magazine clipping into the barrel while hooking onto the barrel behind the muzzle brake.

Beretta BM59 Modello III ITAL-TA

The Beretta BM59 MK III ITAL-TA appears as "BM59" and is stated to be manufactured by the "FA Company". It is not based on the Para version as the muzzle brake remains on the rifle when equipping other muzzle devices (which fictionally can fit on the front of said brake). It appears in the "Carbines" section, which is used for semi-auto only and semi / burst fire only weapons and is semi-auto only. As with certain other weapons, it also lacks its built in bipod.

FEG SA-85M

The SA-85M appears under its real name and is fitted with the SA-85S's stock. Unlike the real rifle this one cannot have its stock replaced. It also mostly uses AKM parts. By default it uses 10-round AK magazines, though they appear to be modeled as if they were single stack magazines. It appears in the "Carbines" category.

The Heckler & Koch HK416 A5 appears as "H416" and is produced by Helka GmbH, the in-game version of Heckler & Koch GmbH. All barrels appear slightly too long. Its parts have "A5" in their name. Interestingly in mobile, the HK416F is used instead of the HK416F, with the parts lacking the "A5" in their name.

It can use the upper of the M16A1. On mobile it is stated to be made by "International Firearms", though the weapon on PC appears to have the "FA" name on it.

M16A1

The M16A1 appears as "M16" and is incorrectly fires bursts instead of full auto. The ejection port, barrel profile are modeled slightly differently from reality and only the A2 pistol grip is available for it. It also appears to be the main armament of Colom's military. It is strangely categorized as a "Carbine", though this seems to be the case for any semi-auto or burst firing only weapon aside from those in the DMR category. It can use the upper of the M4A1 and shares most of the same parts.
