NSV heavy machine gun
The NSV (Cyrillic: НСВ, initialism for Никитина-Соколова-Волкова, Nikitin-Sokolov-Volkov) "Utyos" (Russian: Cliff), is a Soviet heavy machine gun chambered in 12.7×108mm, named after the designers, G. I. Nikitin, Y. М. Sokolov and V. I. Volkov and was designed to replace the DShK machine gun in the Soviet Army from 1971, and replaced by the Kord machinegun, as after the Soviet breakup, the plant were the gun was manufactured ended up in the nation of Kazakhstan.
